The new SP I ordered 2 months ago is definitely better than the one I got 10 months ago. It doesn't have that pinkish color anymore. I don't they changed it back to the OG I think they just mastered the new formula which is on par with the OG with added ingredients.
I still using the OG as I brought alot before they changed and still have some left. But ordered the new formula last month but have not tried it yet.

I’m still using the newer tube from last summer I bought at target, and the one that came in the mail. I’m yet to use the 7oz tube that I got recently in the box deal. Perhaps it could be a little different. I will try it today 👊🏽🍻

I used the OG for years! (20 tubs at the least) and know on around 4 containers of the new formula and I can say that they are very similar, except for when ur ready to rinse the new one stays and have to rinse well. To where the old would seem to disappear but still condition. Hope that makes sense!
I get what you're saying. Would you say the the new formula still keeps your beard soft even though you have to rinse more? I saw that you said both formulas are similar but keeping that soft feel is a must!
@@lumpvision5746 Yes definitely softens! And for the fact that takes longer to rinse for sure use less than the OG and even though the scent is toned down the new formula scent is more noticeable after the shower.
Honestly I have tried the new SP. I was a huge fan of the OG and still use it actually. You can find their old hair conditioner and it has the exact same mix and the OG beard conditioner. It's almost impossible to find but there are a few shops in NY that still sells.

Hey brother Lump, this video is great and gives me hope that you are correct. I never got to experience the OG, and everyone was talking down about the replacement they came up with.
Hearing you get excited makes me excited to hopefully get that same OG experience or even better.

Honestly I saw the reviews and got it recently (probably after the change that you noticed) and could not notice the difference. It's maybe a little thicker and the scent lingers a bit longer, I guess, but it's the exact same feel and texture.

SP is my ish fam...I have used both tub and tube. By far it is my favorite. That buttercream scent is signature. I think the beard oil could be a little thicker. The conditioner gets my beard soft, and makes it a breeze to comb through.

@@lumpvision5746 I use buttercream as a descriptive, but I gather it is probably sandalwood, cedar, coconut and Shea, and all that other beardsy goodness. Either way, it slaps bruh. Before the pandemic, ladies would walk by me, stop, turn around and ask to smell my beard...keep up the videos man. U and @beardedexistance, @bthbarber (hope I got those tags right)and a few other brothers on here are dropping gems on what keeps the beard game strong. Stay up bruh...I appreciate u. 💯💯💯

Never used OG, used the new stuff. I personally fo not like it, I feel like it has made my beard drier than when I was using royal beardsman

Good afternoon everyone. Might be a dumb question but I'm curious is it safe to co wash your beard everyday? Especially during the cold weather?
What up! That's a great question and the answer is yes! You can co-wash everyday no matter the season. Just just have to pay attention to what you're body is telling you. I can get away with co-washing once or twice per week when it's warm out. When it's cold, I co-wash 6 days, wash and condition one day. Everyone is different so you have to figure what works for you.

It's a rinse out conditioner. It is to be used after you wash your beard.
