it's crazy to think that someday our kids might look at this game how we look at Super Mario Bros. for the NES
It’s because VR is gonna keep getting better and better. I’m assume everyone’s pinnacle of gaming would be to create “the oasis” from ready player one. It’s get to the point that anything with a 2D screen and buttons/sticks would be the equivalent to us playing a 16-bit game lol

Memes aside, this was in the first game as well, my guess is its to try and make hunting more sneak based, and probably was also related to trying to eliminate some bugs. If you spook an animal you only have so long until it disappears.
