Luxman R 800u

I bought this Luxman....and I love it.
This Luxman had cosmetic issues as well as power amp 47uf capacitors that was open, rush on components .... see how I got this back to original state. Know that this receiver will be in my music room forever!!!

Great to see a high quality Luxman receiver. You're right Joe. Luxman is quality. They still make great stuff but with quality, it is expensive. They even manufacture vacuum tube gear. They did have a downturn back when Alpine bought them in 1984 and although Luxman gear still was high quality, the poor reputation of Alpine dragged down Luxman's sales worldwide, and for a time, Luxman was only available in Japan. Fortunately, Alpine sold Luxman in 1994 and over the years, they regained worldwide sales once again.

I did...it was just matter of tightening the nut to the chassis....

Again i wish you would do more in detail video;s the people who watch repair video's like to see the in depth troubleshooting and you should explain what you are doing we are watching to learn do not be afraid to have like a hour long video .... this format is not telling us anything and really aint worth watching in current form to be honest
