Actually the reason why omega is not effected from the neg damage is because it’s actually a separate file that appears when you get kicked out from flowey absorbing those souls

It was always obvious that enemy stats don't always mean much mechanically given how Toriel has ridiculously high stats for the Ruins yet only actually has AT/DF in the single-digits in the code, but I find it incredibly interesting that Undyne the Undying is kind of scripted in terms of damage. You'd expect it vs. Omega Flowey, Sans, and all of the other geno route "fights", but Undyne would have to run off a completely different formula given that even at such a large negative attack value you're still dealing damage. If anything, I would've just expected her to have negative defense so that your damage numbers looked more impressive in a normal fight. I wonder why Toby Fox made the fight that way.
I'm not sure if you tested him, but does Asgore's fight work similarly at all? If this were some sort of failsafe mechanic, it'd make sense if all of the fights where Mercy isn't an option had "scripted damage" of some form.

Mettaton NEO uas opposite of Undyne, that any damage, even if u hit him with stick on 1st lv he will die. in scripts he has negative defense at all..

I looked into how the game does its damage calculations recently out of curiosity, and I figured out why changing your LV attack didn't do anything.
At the start of a battle, the game actually resets your attack stat to double your LV, plus 8. This is 10 at LV 1, 12 at LV 2, and so on. This makes changing your LV attack with save editing practically pointless.
That said, this doesn't happen with weapon strength, which is why you can still do negative damage by changing it.

The miss on enemy and them healing, is actually a similar effect that the amalgamates have,
Tjey have 999 def,
And with a defense so high, they strt healing.
Execpt for Crystal (snowdrake's mom)
She has a defense of 0 and 400, and you can reducer her health.
But a code in the game's files revert her lost hp back to 400.
So its actually possible to "kill" Crystal
