I have to say that 1.5 million ppv buys for the askren fight is bs. Jakes fans are on average 10-15 years old, 95% of them didn’t buy the ppv. Triller also is the worst promotion in the history of combat sport. Trying to make fighting in a triangle a thing pretty much shows how terrible of a business they are.

Nah. Ben & Jake actually sold the fight. Jakes been boxing for 4-5 years, in those years, he’s attracted new fans, and it’s not just mainly teenagers any more. Ben and Jakes videos garnered like millions of views on across all of their social media platforms, and before the fight, Ben was on Jake Pauls brother, Logan Paul’s podcast, where they discussed about the then upcoming fight, which attracted over 2-3 million views before the actual fight & big named celebrities like Snoop, Justin Bieber, & Mario Lopez all promoted the fight. It’s really not bs when you take all of those into account.

I mean if you watch Jake Paul vs Woodley all the way through you do see some glaring areas of concern.
Jake has fast hands, throws a good counter and overhand but his head movement is woeful. Like the few times Woodley let his hands go and threw a jab it snapped his head back, obviously got spanked into the ropes that one time by a fairly innocuous punch also. Jake couldn't really control range either. He moves his feet poorly, doesn't seem to have a particurly good jab. Kid has talent but the fundamentals of defence ain't there yet.
Real question is if Tommy is good enough to exploit that. If he's aggressive and let's his hands go I think he'll knock Jake out in round 3, if he's in anyway hesitant or tight, then the longer it goes on the tougher it'll be for him. I'd be surprised if he ain't feeling it mentally.

Hard disagree. I think geordies opinion changed mainly because of the john fury interview. John convinced him about Tommy Furys skills and now he believes that he has a chanse and that tommys last fight was just a bad day. I mean Geordie didnt change his mind on tyron or askren because everyone was calling him an asslicker so why would he now?
Tommys defense in the jordan grant fight wasnt good and Tommy should have stopped Taylor but Tommy doesnt have greay footwork so he didnt get the stoppage. Jake probably has a better than Tommys trainer so Jake is probably better. Tommy gets hit by right hands alot, Tommy isnt good he is a fury and Tyson said he is good so they assume Jake will lose but Jake is better than it seems

He's fought more regularly recently than Tyson, so maybe that's how he thinks he made more money from boxing in the past year. But boxingwise JP is just a flash in the pan, after he inevitably gets spanked by Tommy his next purse will drop significantly if he even continues at all. Whereas Fury has made good money for many years and probably a few more to come as well
