I know that it's not easy to speak against Conor since you are one of his biggest supporters, but really appreciate your fairness and honesty. Conor's horrible behaviors before, during, and after the fight were inexcusable.

Not really. I donât even think his silence to certain responses is deserving of any analysis at all. This whole persona and gimmick at being his old self is just falling short, and thatâs what everyone is picking up on. Heâs like a parody of his old self and that aura he had. In other pressers before khabib, which was similar to this Conor was actually not only doing mental warfare but actually exuded confidence, it wasnât an act and people could pick up on that but in this case, it just wasnât there. The insecurity was there and like many people correctly picked up on IMO, he was more trying to hype himself up then anything else, and it was the same case with the khabib fight. Itâs hard to go out there and excrete confidence and charisma and taunt and mentally bully a guy who just 6 months ago slept you, and itâs even harder to convince a bunch of people that this is the real you when just 6 months ago you were literally buddy buddy this guy and praising him and publically pledging to his foundation etc...one of these characters is being a fake and it just isnât convincing. Ofc none of this even matters when it comes time to step in the octagon and thatâs why Iâve always appreciated poiriers approach even if itâs not always as entertaining, because itâs not about what you say or how you act itâs how you handle yourself in the octagon.
This was actually a top assessment of the fight and the interviews. Very fair to both fighters.

In the presser against Eddie Alvarez, Conor had multiple moments where he didn't respond to Eddie's comments about the fact that he was going to outwrestle him, make him tired, etc. He has done that in multiple pressers. So this is not the first time where Conor just sits there and chooses not to respond.

Love your content, not many guys in the MMA space take time to address some of the more overlooked aspects of the fight, whether it be tactically or psychologically. Your objective and state your opinion.
Most of the professionals don't say their full opinion due to backlash from the fighters, not many in the media addressed how Cowboy has looked sub par at best his last 6 fights for example. Many are afraid of making potential enemies by speaking the truth. Which is that Cowboy didn't throw a single punch back, and admitted that he didn't even wanna be there after the fight.
