    Hey there, I did this, on my 65 coupe, several years ago. I used two, Bussman brand 6 circuit fuse blocks, as I had a whole bunch of additional inline fused items, I wanted to tidy up in the upgrade.. The independent circuit power in/load out block is awesome 😎!!! I wound up still having that independently powered dash light 2.5 amp as separate inline fused afterwards. Your job just nails this upgrade perfectly.. And, is easily expandable to anybody's Ford, with this setup.. I added wire length, and fabbed a metal plate to mount them on, and the signal flasher, as well as a electronic fuel pump relay, (that's tach signal triggered). It slides up behind the fresh air box, sits on a homemade bracket. So it's easily removable, with just enough wire have decent access, while kneeling down in the footwell. Kudos brother, for a really well engineered solution here !!!! God bless...

    Great posting Michael! I have a 66 F100 that I have been needing to do this to (glass fuse panel is kaput) - you got this done in less than 30 min - with explaining everything... I should be able to knock mine out in 15 min!! LOL! great explanations and suggestions!

      15 min is definitely doable...its super easy. Just be sure to label the wires before cutting.

    thanks for the vid, I am doing this to my 67 and keep coming back to this vid to make sure everything is right. I am also adding 2 ignition and battery fuse blocks on other side of tranny tunnel under dash to run stuff like electric antenna and gauge lights and tach light etc etc I subbed and liked.

  • @smooth0808

    Great video. I'd like to do this to my '75 f100. I see the same fuse blocks have diagrams for attaching battery "pos" to top and "neg" to bottom. I'm guessing that's for boats etc? no need to do that with the Constant power to top fuse? as per ford wiring diagram?

    • @michaelanthonyaquino
      @michaelanthonyaquino  Před rokem +1

      Thats a different type of fuse block if you want a hot coming in and several fused circuits going out (I did this with two blocks in my trunk). The fuse block in this video is for independent circuits...hots coming in on the left, a fuse, then hot back out on the right.

    Hello Michael! I have a 67 Mustang, can your unit apply to my 67? I upgraded my Altenator to 110 amp single wire Last year and would like more options to add things to fuse box. Looks about the same as my old one in there. Thanks for any input. Thanks for sharing this Gem of a video!! Cheers from Motown/Dearborn.

    • @michaelanthonyaquino
      @michaelanthonyaquino  Před rokem +1

      Yes it should be fine...though I would run a separate distribution and fuse box if you plan to add additional accessories. Watch the Big 3 Upgrade video I have which talks about this.

      @@michaelanthonyaquino Thank you very much Michael. Wont be adding anymore. I have my fans on relays, along with my Gt fog lights on relays, no issues with new 110 amp 1 wire Ford Alt. I just dont trust that old fuse box and only possibly need an extra 12 volt Ign source. Appreciate it brother!
