Its an Italian Only love and feel for Nation, people and anthem.
Its something Italians are born with and have for millenia, never can a piece of paper replace that birthright.

A bigger crowd in Rome for that game than there was for most of the Rome games last year! What a difference a year makes!

I wish other countries would follow Italy's example and let the crowd do the singing rather than wheeling out some has-been D grade celebrity to abuse everyone's ears.
It's a **NATIONAL** anthem, let the **NATION** sing it.

To be fair to them, they let all the nations sing this weekend which was brilliant

      @@rob5197 it's a national anthem.
It plays everytime we have to do something as a nation. And it is what we are. Italians.

cause of course you are close minded not to say anything worse. i don't blame you for not understanding the anthem, but is not a hard one either @@rob5197

@@rob5197so what? It's an anthem and it's about 2000 years of Italian history. The French talk about blood and revolution in theirs. The English sing about their king. What do they have to do with football and sport?
