The leading organization, in my opinion, that has Veterinarians and Chiropractors that become Animal Chiropractors is the Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) They have a website with a "Find a Doctor" tab/database: www.animalchiropractic.org
This a good resource for all that are looking for a well trained doctor near them.

Wow, 30 years old and blind. Still a handsome, patient horse. Good job, Doctor.
Thanks Robin I appreciate it
Wyatt is such a beautiful horse. You could tell by his reactions that you were making him feel better. I loved the part where he shook his head up and down at your gum joke. Sweet boy.
Thank you Jana! 🙏🏻
I hope Wyatt's previous owner will see this video to know that Wyatt is in good hands and being cared for with love. I can imagine it's crushing to surrender an animal. To that owner I would say, thank you for doing the right thing, your love for Wyatt is pure and unselfish.
Thank you for your compassion Sally!
It is, guilt I'll never get over.
You did a wonderful job with Wyatt, Dr. Doug. Your empathy for the heightened vigilance of a blind prey animal is what makes you able to bond and help Wyatt so much. Blessings 💜
Awww thank you Diane for you thoughtful words!
Wow! Wyatt's posture after he processed that last adjustment was so lively looking and happy. What an amazing coat pattern he has, and such a lovely build. I wish I could give him a hug.
Awww Cute!
Wyatt has to compensate sooo much for his blindness that his body has become very stiff. Poor poor dude! You got him to loosen and flex and his shock at how that felt was obvious. You are a great man and a wonderful doctor for the animal work you do. They are voiceless and yet you find their problems and fix it.
You're an angel for working with them and asking for consent. I bet you can talk to them spiritually and really feel like conversing with the animals 😊
I don’t speak spiritually with them just communicate non-verbale. Position, posture and controlling the pressure I put on the horse. At least I try. 😊
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen looks like you could but even without: amazing that they'll let you work on them ❤️
Another lovely horse. They are really well looked after!
Wyatt was so patient and trusting for a blind horse.
Thank you for your great work Dr. Doug and Bergen County Horse Rescue team!
Thank you for the nice words Anglo Saxon!
What a gorgeous horse you are, Wyatt! Thank you Doc, for donating all your time to helping these majestic horses and rescue animals when you go visit rescues. I am certain that your expertise and touch makes a huge difference in their lives.
🙏🏻
What a handsome boy Wyatt is! 30 years old?! 😮. Three zero?! Wow I didn't know they could live that long! And he's in beautiful shape for being such an advanced senior! It's a testament to the quality care he's getting at the rescue. ❤. Doc, you did great staying connected with your patient using your voice and hands! Wyatt didn't seem scared or nervous at any time during this video. Just seemed to REALLY process those adjustments mentally after they were made. Great work! ❤
Rescued a 25 yr old Arabian who lived to be 40.!! As long as they're fed soaked high fat high fibre pellets and mash...soaked hay cubes etc...(no teeth) they can live well past 25 or 30.
Thanks for your nice comment! I appreciate it!
@K. Awesome! 👍🏼
@@KathgoKat 40 Wow! Great job keeping that horse going to such an advanced age.
Thank you Dr D for helping this gorgeous boy. And thanks to Bergan County Horse Rescue for their efforts with Wyatt and all the horses in their care.
You‘re so welcome!
If there is a way you will figure it out Doc. Horse is very trustworthy to you. ❤❤😊😊😊
🙏🏻😊❤️
Oh my... He is such an elegant horse 💖30 years old? It's unbelievable.
He is gorgeous ❗Thank you ladies for taking care of him 🙏 Dr. Willen 💎
Thank you Veronique.👍🏼😊
Wyatt is very handsome and seems really sweet!!! ❤❤❤ I'm glad that his senior years will be more comfortable with the adjustments!!!
You should have your own TV show!
Not bad! 😉
No, producers would ruin it
YES it's just Brilliant how you handled lovely Wyatt - what a clever Champion, the owner-handler is taking such good care of him to request your help. I loved seeing Wyatt walk even taller, relaxed and healthy after your help GO WYATT!!
You do an amazing job! I wish you were in Wisconsin - just in case you ever want to do a road trip ;) not only would my horses enjoy this, I’d book a session myself!
I hear that! 😊
Awww wow! Really awesome!
Ain‘t got any time so sorry! Maybe one day.🙏🏻😊
Wyatt is absolutely beautiful. So many kudos to the wonderful rescue that allows him to live a quality and happy life. Thank you Dr. Doug for helping him! ❤️
What a sweetheart Wyatt is. I could tell you were helping him immensely, Dr. Doug and Wyatt showed his appreciation with those head nods. Have a Wonderful Holiday Season with your loved ones, and I am looking forward to 2024 and all it brings. What great work Bergen county does to help these horses and then there is you. . . Keep dancing🕺Dr. Doug ❤
What a beautiful boy - im glad that he was one who gets to live out his life in safety and love. Wish all could.
Aww that’s nice and beautiful thank you!
That was amazing! Thank you so much for helping Wyatt! 💗
You‘re welcome ilene!
Doc you blow my mind. So glad you received this gift to help animals. I know first hand when a bone is out the pain and problems it causes. I had the bone out that connects the skull to the spine due to a car accident I had in my early 20's.... Noone could get it in. Screwed up my whole spine and hips. Finally I walked into a Chrios office and said I can't take pain anymore. I asked him if he as opened to prayer and the gift of healing from above. He prayed and cracked my neck. I've been 100 percent healed for 25 years and I'm 60. Now I stop in just to say Hi 🤗😁🤗😁. Have a blessed and beautiful day 🥰
Wow amazing story Emily! Thank you for sharing it with us.
What a handsome and gentle boy! You can tell he felt better. God bless you for all you do for these animals.
What an amazingly beautiful guy. I love him. He is so handsome. I love him. I could just pet him all over. What a lovely guy. I love him! Can’t stop.
You're talking about the horse, right? 😄
Wyatt is a beautiful horse! I am very happy that you could help him realign and be much more relaxed and comfortable in his body. Thank you!! ❤❤
You‘re welcome R
He’s so beautiful and you are sooo kind to work with these horses on a volunteer basis❤️🙏🏼❤️
I love working and helping animals and humans the best way I can! Thanks Kiley!
Wyatt is the most beautiful boy. How wonderful to make him comfortable in his golden years. Watching his tension ease is heartwarming.
Wyatt, I thought you were an appaloosa but I had never heard of the Leopard, what a beautiful coat you have! You look amazing for 30 years old, though I'm sorry for your blindness and sore back. I think Dr Doug did a good treatment on you (and your tongue was pretty cute 9:). Dr. Doug, thanks for treating Wyatt and all the other animals you help. Now that we know your favorite is chocolate chip cookies, they should start arriving in your office shortly, you'll need to Salsa more to keep the pounds off. Have a good week and Holiday. 💜💜
Haha! Everyone knows now! Christmas is coming…and the pounds too with chocolate chip 🍪 😅
It's a pleasure to watch you work; so patient and aware of how what you're doing is affecting the animal, and allowing them to process the change.
Wyatt is a beautiful animal, and must have seen a lot in his day; I can imagine him doing dressage in his younger days.
Keep up with the salsa lessons--it will teach you many good things!
I will! I love animals and salsa! 😅 thanks for sharing Rubia.
Let's hear it for Wyatt and all the rescue horses!
What a lovely old horse Wyatt is with such unusual markings he certainly doesn't look 30 years old. He was so aware of what was going on around him, love the way his ears were twitching around when you were going through his diagnosis. lovely video Dr Doug such a connection .
Thanks for the nice words!
"Got It."
My FAVORITE Statement.
Wierd, but I get PLEASURE, vicariously.
Maybe bc i suffer from some issues I'd like fixed by a doctor with strength.
My former Chiros Docs DON'T get the job done. Plus they enjoy the Repeat Visits for the Income, so thays why they'd like to schedule me every month.
I'm like: NO, THANKS.
I'LL TRY some other doctor and clinic to fix me the 1st Time or work on My issues myself.
Thanks for sharing your story O.
Someone with scoliosis whose had back injuries as well. The spine tends to slip into old injuries. So maintenance once a month might be what your chiro is going for. For every injury I have had, the initial adjustments should be more frequent, to start the healing process. As many as 2-3 a week for awhile.
We are taught to ignore pain, so it is difficult to notice small changes that build up, whether they are good (chiropractic) or bad (slipping back towards an injured position.) Hope you find relief.
@@amarketing8749 So IF You know this as a Patient (2 to 3 x per week)...
Why doesn't my chiro choose to see me more frequently?
She's a V.A. Doc and so, I imagine she wants to keep the stream with NEW Patients and NOT outsource.
@@operationpaperclip3952 I cannot know why this is the situation. Do you have the ability with insurance to see non VA staff?
The other option is to NOT pay through insurance. Chiropractors are more likely than others to have a discount for patients that pay out of pocket. Look for a new Chiropractor, not an Osteopath (less well trained in chiropractic methods IMO.)
Also look into acupuncture. Acupuncturists will often have a network of good Chiropractors they refer to and vice a versa. Finding a good acupuncturist can lead to a good Chiropractor. I wish you well in your search.
You’re a good guy Wyatt.. you just let that crazy man do his thing and you’ll be very happy
am blown away Dr DW by the love and compassion and healing touch u give to this beautiful majestic creature ty u rock u make me smile
♥️🌹🐎🌹♥️
...shout out to Wyatt luv u handsome what a brave boy u are blessings & luv 🐎
G'day Wyatt 🙂 You are a very well behaved boy and it's great you didn't step on Douglas whilst he was helping you out 😁 Well done Douglas as always 🙂
Thank you Mark always appreciate your kind words!
Thank you, Dr. Doug, for helping Wyatt! I love the work you do so much that I have shared this video with a friend of mine who has a 15-year-old Mare!
Wyatt is so handsome! Dr. Willen you did so well with helping Wyatt know your presence at all times. You can see that Wyatt trusted you. I think those Salsa lessons helped with this unexpected interaction!!
Maybe ! But at least It didn’t make it worse! 😅
What a stunning horse. Doug, you’re awesome. But only your 3rd visit?!? I feel like you’re there all the time ❤
Hahaha! Indeed my third visit!
I don't know why I feel like crying when he's done with the adjustmenst everytime. It's like I feel the relief on the animal's behalf. Must feel so good to get the relief when they could't speak and says what hurts. ❤

For sure! She does an amazing job!
Dr. Wallen deserves a major network TV show.
What a cute and beautiful Horse! Thanks for caring and sharing!
Greetings from Germany

Aww thank you! Balm for the soul!
I love the way you navigated this one, from familiarizing him with the box to vocalizing so he can hear you the whole time. A very thoughtful caring proves that created a positive interaction instead of a fearful response 😊 inspiring. Thanks doc

You take the time to make such beautiful connections with your patients.
Thank you! it is so important to me to establish a good connection.
Hey Doc thanks for helping an old timer. Wyatt is a beautiful boy, and sweet! He was licking and chewing right away. He got some relief and he must feel so much better. Bless you, and Bergan County Horse Rescue also!!
Thanks for the blessing Yorkist!
Bravo to former owner. That is the definition of true love…you love them but cannot give proper care so you re-home in a safe caring environment ❤️
Wyatt, what a beautiful boy and gentle too.
Hope he felt better afterwards.
So beautiful a boy♥️♥️
OMG, I'm in love with Wyatt! He's such a sweet, gentle old man. Almost like a giant dalmatian 😂. Thank you DR. Doug for being so kind and patient with him and hopefully helped him feel better. 🤞🙏
A giant Dalmatian! 👍🏼😂
Since the previous owner made sure her companion Wyatt had a safe place to live may his or her tears of sorrow turn into joy to see that not only is everything A okay but that Wyatt is getting the works all the bells and whistles of accurate treatment for body soul and spirit! I hope and pray that Wyatt's previous owner is getting the same tender love and care as well. On a side note , It was pretty awesome to see Wyatt's expressions of his eyes. His eyes went from intense worry to a slow steady change into confidence and relief. I am learning so much in how horses talk from these bone adjustment sessions that goes beyond regular interaction with equine on other channels. Thank you for all that sir @animal cracker !
What a handsome horse. You gained his trust very quickly. Great adjustment!
Thanks Jimmy! 👍🏼😊
Just had to say 1st before I watched because I'm never 1st. 😂😁
😂 woohoo woohoo 🎉 🥇 bravo welldone Barbara! You‘re definitely the best!
Wyatt, you're such a handsome fella and such a gentleman, too. I'm glad you let Dr. Doug work with you and that you're feeling better.
Thanks for sharing yvonne
To work on a blind horse you pay very close attention to Dr.Doug. Wyatt is an awesome guy ❤
Yes no problem! He is so awesome!
Loved Wyatt's reaction to the cookie. His eyes widened, and his ears snapped forward. A treat!!!
Doc, it must be just as important to know when to quit. That the animal has had enough for the day, especially as you said, a blind prey animal.
Magnificent creature ! Thank you for your support, kindness and service to all of God’s animals.
You’re the best, Dr Doug!! Thank you for coming by BCHR- our horses & volunteers appreciate all that you do!
Thank you so much, always a pleasure to come and adjust the horses at BCHR!🙏🏻
Wow, Wyatt is absolutely beautiful and so patient even though he is blind. It's great that there are places like Bergan County Horse Rescue on America

I have to say, you have had so many precious, beautiful horses you see and you have treated. Wyatt wins as the worlds most beautiful horse in my book. He is such a stunning, gentle soul.
Awww wow ! thanks for the wonderful words and your kindness Mary.
Doc, you are a pure empathetic soul. Very heartwarming to watch you work with your patients.
Love your volunteer work. There are so many horse rescues that would appreciate the work you do. Maybe others will pick up the volunteer spirit. Beautiful horse.
The cute is off the chart with this adorable guy. Oh, that velvet nose.

Good looking patient.
I just rescued a 20+ year old pony, angle is a sweetheart. She has a forever home.
That touches me and I‘m so pleased Tom you rescued the pony! You‘re the best!
Wyatt is gorgeous! Thanks again Dr. Doug.💝
Wyatt is a really pretty horse. I owned an Appy. He had Uveitis and the Vet would inject medicine in his eyes. Eventually they quit working, and he went blind. It was amazing how he adapted. I would let him out in the field (he was an only child at that time). Lucky for me he wasn't totally blind when I taught him the fence line; so, by the time he went blind he was comfortable in the field. He would run up from the lower field, when he got close to the barn he would walk in a serpentine movement and after about the third loop he was lined up with his stall door. I even took him to some local fun shows. The only thing I couldn't do with him was jumping. I talked to him the whole time I was with him. He passed just before his 30th birthday due to heart failure. Blind horses aren't useless it just takes love and patience.
Wow amazing story! That‘s so true thank you for sharing.
Never seen one of these - he's a beauty! and no doubt he's feeling mucho better! Great job, Dr.!!!
YOU work with Wyatt with tons of love and affection and aiding him in any way possible.. I'd love to work with him after I lost my COAL in Santa Ana Calif way back in 72. I cried for 3 years.. never went back.. A blind horse could be loved totally by anyone who has a true heart.. INCL MEEEE!
Aww so sorry for your loss!
I love you, Wyatt😘🥰😍

I appreciate you talking about it while working on the babies. Very interesting work.
Beautiful animal communication. Gorgeous horse.

Glad you love watching the AC work. yes amazing!
Such a great service for horses that really need it!!!

Lovely video. I liked the extra talking too. That L6 gotta feel better Wyatt.
I‘m so glad you love all those little changes on the channel! You were there from the beginning! You are so important to me Vaga! Amazing faithful support ! 👍🏼🙏🏻
Thank you Dr. Willen. I hope that you’ll be able to go back there in the next year to adjust him again because you said Wyatt has to be super vigilant because he’s blind which makes his body more tense in general than horses that aren’t blind. Wyatt must be so much more relaxed now; at least he will be for a while. Happy Holidays! R
Love Wyatt. Super boy. God Bless, he has people who love him.
He definitely has!
What a lovely beautiful elderly fellow. :}
