They are lol
A house chicken! He's cute. William seems thrilled 🤣
Yes, I had already fell in love with Romeo. House chicken it is lol. William is a good man
ALL my chickens have big booties! I have Cochin Mille Fleur bantam’s and my rooster 🐓 is a gorgeous red frizzle Millie Fleur ❤❤❤ I hatched them all out from breeder stock. There’s definitely a difference between hatchery chickens and breeder chickens.
That is awesome!
So fun watching the Roaster strut there stuff lol ❤
They are just fabulous
I thought Cassie would love to attend this show. I wonder if she knew it was going on? These are some amazing chickens. Thanks for bringing us. Love ❤️
I was sending her pictures of the cool birds
I ended up with a indoor chicken. I nursed a severely injured chicken back to health indoors. She ended up learning how to follow our many Chihuahua's in and out of our flip flop doggie door access. I would lay old clean towels daily on the end of the couch she liked to roost. I never thought I would keep a chicken like that but by the time she had healed she had bonded with every human, dog and cat in the house.
I love the way you announce the breed when showing the animal. I went back to watch many of your Barnyard Action Sales. The loving gentle way you speak to the mostly terrified creatures. Your filming is fantastic with clear close ups. Great presentations!
Love this story ❤️❤️❤️
Oh Marie your husband cracked me up!!
He’s a good sport
I have never seen such fabulous chickens. Thanks for taking us along.
So nice of you
That was so much fun! They are so beautiful.! What are you going to name your house rooster? Your husband is the best! He loves making you happy❤

Oh my goodness. Makes me think of the Westminster dog show but for chickens! Never knew they had such a thing! Wow.
If there is a Westminster chicken show that would be so cool to go to.
My dad's nephew from Albuquerque New Mexico Jay Miller was a certified poultry judge , he would come out to the Colo. State Fair & other fairs to judge , he loved the people & entry 's each year , fun times !
That’s wonderful
my neighbor just gave me some American game chickens ( 2 hens and a rooster) and they are very nice . they like to be held and petted . when he told me they were bantams i was expecting a whole different kind of chicken.

At 14:00 The Modern Game is very very very tame and are lap chickens if you have the bantams. The standard size moderns ARE Aggressive! I raise both. Never had a aggressive banty never had a non aggressive standard size lol.
I had always passed on them because they had game in there name. But they are so cool. They are definitely on my want list
Thank you , Marie beautiful breeds. I have a bunch of different kinds now but nothing is more friendly than my silkie Hunny. Love your sweater....
Wonderful!
Wow... A house chicken/Rooster. He is so handsome and little. Thanks for the big chicken show your. So many amazing chickens. 👍😺💞

Thank you for the chicken tour. Who knew there were so many different ones? God sure knew what he was doing, when he made them all. I had a big hen, for a best friend, when I was about four years old! Will Romeo get to produce babies?
I’m on the hunt for ladies for Romeo. I’m going to go to another chicken show soon. I’m hoping to get him some frizzled ladies

So many beautiful varieties of chickens and roosters. Your little house chicken is so precious 🥰.
Thank you so much 😊
I could never go to a chicken show. I would come home broke and with a carload of chickens. I love all the big buff birds. Orpingtons are my absolute favourite. 🐔🐥🐤
Thanks so much for watching
My amercuna is 31 weeks old and she is just developing the ear plums
That’s so cool
My problem is I see a new breed and then want 1 rooster and 7 hens of each breed...lol
Me too!
Love your videos!
Glad you like them!
wow, there are some fabulous feathers. That is all I could think about. Great feathers to make some killer earrings. Yes I am a crafter! Thanks for bring us along to the show!🤗💕💙🐓
Thanks so much for watching
I was wondering how those pampered hens and roosters would adapt to being regular fowl outside in coops or even free ranging. We’ll see how long he lasts as a house rooster, I imagine he’d get pretty smelly and lonely. I can’t believe how small he is. Can’t wait to see what he produces next spring.
Lol true. We have already talked about a heated coop
@@RandomOkieFarmsSeramas are VERY sensitive birds!
They won't do well over winter if it gets below freezing.
@@klover_leaf he lives in the house 🤗
@@RandomOkieFarms and that's what they made for!
They're a small and social bird who tolerates confinement very well
@@klover_leaf that is so cool

Thanks so much for watching
The Leghorns are not known to be friendly . When my mother was a girl collecting eggs she had to use a 2x4 to protect herself from their Leghorn roo.
Wow that was a mean rooster
William I think I detect a bit of sarcasm 😀
🤣🤣🤣
Lots of chicken's going on.
Thank you for watching. Have a blessed day.
❤❤
🐓
Thanks so much for watching
Not sure if someone else already answered somewhere in the comments, or if you're found out on your own by now, but at 35:23 you said you weren't sure what the feathers coming out of the side of the head were. They're called tufts, and grow from a fleshy peduncle. In the Araucana SOP, birds are DQ if they don't have tufts. Beards/Muffs are accepted in the UK and some other countries, but are a DQ in the US. Tails are a DQ as well, the birds must be rumpless.
Did you do pt 2 of the exotic auction ?
Yes it will be posting Tuesday at 2pm
I have been to a cat show before, I thought it was very interesting how they showed cats. I am a member of an AKC club so we put on dog shows, and I never knew they had chicken shows. But why not?
Poultry, cattle, goat, sheep, Rabbit, cavy, ferret, mouse, rat, alpacas, etc. Etc.etc.
Livestock showing is a whole industry in and of itself! There's associations for just about every species
@@klover_leaf I want to see every one of those shows. How cool!!!!!
@@poodleladylady5686 I do state and national level Rabbit shows!
I intend to start showing my serama (chicken) flock and dairy goats in the future. But I'm too busy atm.
I also show Dogs, Cavy, Alpacas, Goats, Sheep, Serama, and Cortunix Quail at the county fair!
It's an amazing industry where the animals are absolutely spoiled and the people are so passionate about what they do.
It's also responsible for producing healthy and high-quality animals who don't have the same genetic issues are mass-produced or pet stock.
Thanks so much for watching
Wow I never knew mouse shows as well. That sounds awesome
It’s lovely to se all the chickens. Do you have flaverolles ? Or do they go by a different name in America? I used to have salmon coloured ones.
I have had them before and really loved the temperament
If he is living inside will you bring hens in to him or will you put him in the coop to breed? Love ❤️
I’m going to have to find him some women first… Then sneak them in the house lol
lol 😂
MARIE, I AM LEARNING ABOUT CHICKENS AS YOU GO DOWN TO THE AILES AND AT MIN. 28:21 IN THE VIDEO, I MISSED THE BREED OF THE BIRD IN THAT CAGE DO YOU REMEMBER IT 🐓🐔🐓🐔🐓
Thanks so much for watching
Those chickens a the 38:43 mark. The Ayam Cemani. Not only are their feathers, beaks, combs and feet are black, so are their insides organs, their bones and meat. The only thing not black about them are the eggs. To me that's very creepy. I have a friend whose sister-in-law raises them.
That still blows my mind that they are all black. They are very unique
At 14:43 I like how you pronounce "leghorn" as it's spelled. I do the same. But around here I always hear them called "leggerns" which drives me nuts, although I conform to it and say it the same when I'm around those people since I don't wanna be the oddball out, lol. It might be the proper way, I have no clue, but I like pronouncing it like it's spelled. lol
I love the roster
He’s just wonderful
Awesome chicken or rooster
Both
❤❤
Thanks so much for watching
Your house chicken is adorable. What did you name him?
We named him Romeo ❤️
❤
Leghorns are extremely skittish!
That is a bummer
Can we just talk about those Brahmas ?!
They were fabulous 🤗🤗🤗
How do they get the beaks shiny
Some were using Vaseline
the leghorns are a little more nervous breed.
They sure are
OrPington
Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
WHERE IS THIS AUCTION
Hey this one was at norman ok
Modern games are some of the most quiet birds around. Due to the size of the bantams, they make wonderful little kid’s pets. Modern pullets are more than happy to be held and cuddled and are easily held by small hands. Even my large Moderns, are one of the quieter hard feather breeds, and take very little to calm down and settle into a routine.
Moderns have personality galore. They are an active breed and will always be doing ‘activities’. They are inquisitive, friendly and always up for a chat. This makes them one of the best breeds for any backyard. I do find that they will try and fly, so a roof or trimmed wings is the go.
❤Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
They seem like a really sweet breed
