Oh wow I didn’t even know they have pigeon shows as well. That will have to be added to my bucket list.
Those birds with the butter cup shaped combs are called Sicilian butter cups. We have a flock of them. They’re fairly rare, and their combs are susceptible to frostbite if you live in a really cold area, however there combs can grow and just keep growing and get kind of elaborate along time ago in Europe they were shown for that reason anyhow, they are very predator savvy and they are good scavengers so they would rather be free range or in a large coop. We lost our rooster about two weeks ago, but the day, after he passed, our hen hatched a bunch of eggs. We are really hoping for a rooster in that batch I really like your show. I only started watching your channel recently, but I really enjoy going to the auctions and just seeing you interact with your animals.
I love getting to hear about breed temperament. That is the first time I remember seeing them in person. I looked for them at the last chicken show I went to. But they didn’t have any. Are they a friendly chicken? Or more on the gamy side?

I just love Bambi! She is so unique and beautifully colored. Oh boy more auction!!! I've really enjoyed your footage you got at there. And the babies you picked out. If I were younger and able bodied I'd so be right with you there for hours! Those chickens and other animals are spectacular! It is interesting to learn what each breed should look, behave, and other info you know about these birds. It is almost overwhelming to see so many beautiful and unique little souls. To think they each have their own minds and personalities! I like the game birds too. You ended up with the coolest rooster ever, a house rooster! I can't imagine. Good job Marie! Marie, the dalmatian chicken is called Silver Appenzeller Chickens Dalmatian and they are a very rare breed. The one with the horns are called Mottled Houdan. Next to the polish chickens is a Polish Top Hat. I still Love Romeo, such a handsome boy. He sure is Bujie.

I have Birchen Modern Games, and they really are sweet, tame little chickens. I just love them. I am in Alberta Canada. So they need to be kept very warm. But they are sweet. You wouldn't regret having Modern Games.

Hi, I am from Germany. The chickens with the all he way going around are Sicillian Buttercups, mediteranienbird, lightweight, ehhlayers. The all black and that blue one with the poof on their head are Creveceurs, a french breed, heavy weight (dual purpose) good egg layer, the white with thepolka dots whichyou called "Dalmations" are Silver spangled Hamburgs alsocome ingoldlaced- pure breed Bantam,fair egg layers, more ornamental. The blackones without a tail andthe 2little"sideburnsticking out are Araucanas- the realblue egg layers fromsouth America- very hard to breed,got alethal genewhich makes alotofembryos die. Very rare and hard to get. From them they created Ameraucanas (recognized breed in different pure colors and the "Americanas/Easter eggers". Crevecours being pronounced Cre (as if you say crest) ve-cours (like you say co-(c)hers-t--Cre ve cours. Hope that helps a bit :) Love your farm! God bless!

Old english game bantams are my absolute favorite. I just wish APA standard didn't require them to be dubbed for show. It's such an outdated practice, I wish they would update the standard. I like my boys with their big beautiful combs! I would love to show them one day if it ever does get changed.

Ok so I am partial to Orpingtons, we have buff, black and Lavender. I think k i need the Mauve Orpingtons! Just stunning birds! Though my black and blue australorp are beautiful girls too!!
Orpingtons are wonderful birds. The Mauves were stunning. They were $300 each but I can see why

Interesting how some of the combs on the chickens look like toupees. They just sit there flat on their heads. Fefe, are you a Physicians assistant? I know that as PA-C-, C-PA and PCA. I am in awe of the price of chickens too.
