India🇮🇳
Thanks a lot
@@supermario4178India🤢🤮
@@sifat-hd5oo Funny, because that’s the exact reaction of Indians when we think about Bangladesh
@@sifat-hd5ooBangladesh and India is frends ❤
That man selling in the boat who gave you the cucumber for free even tho he knows you can afford it comfortably just won my heart.
Yeah...that was so wonderful!
I think Bangladesh government should hire you as a brand ambassador of tourism Corporation ❤❤❤
😄
😇😇😇
We should, she is doing a remarkable job.
You are so lucky that received 1 Giant Cucumber and 2 Tomatoes as gift 😊 lots of love.
Very sweet 😊
That magical morning and the running vegetable market in your video looked so stunning! Bangladesh felt sweetest with local fresh vegetable collection and friendliness of people! You made really great videos!
Thank you so much 😀
Addition: Not every vlogger has the same big heart as her to potray a poor country in a humble and joyful way.
@@nadiaakther2009 She is one such genuine and great British vlogger who loves Bangladesh with the heart of a Bangladeshi! It looks really incredible!
You are such a down to earth person, the way you portray Bangladesh is very appreciative, thanks for visiting Bangladesh 🇧🇩

Thank you so much 🥰
@@carriepatsalis you're welcome 😍
Very true... Best ever vlogger who displayed my country in such heart touching manner.
O God, you made a horror movie carrie! 😂😂 Those sound effects perfectly blended with the scenes! And now we can say, we are in a creepy misty UK canal/lagoon 😂😂
😁.. I enjoyed this one very much!
Thanks for visiting our country Bangladesh...🇧🇩🇧🇩
Love you my sister....
I'm from Bangladesh...
How down-to-earth a person can be! You're awesome. I've watched all of your Bangladesh vlogs but never commented. But today I couldn't resist myself... I appreciate your efforts... Love from the core of my heart.
She sure is bro ❤
You are very punctual this market starts at dawn and ends up early in the😅 morning. Most people can't see this in action. You are exceptional.
😁.. 4.30am start 😜
The fibre part of wood apple is a bit bitter & you must have to avoid the seeds as those have sticky gum. We call it বেল in Bangla, pronunciation like "bell", it makes quite tasty dessert with spice & sugar; also you can make smoothie with water or milk with chia seeds.
The pitha you took in another boat is we call it চিতই পিঠা, pronouncing like "CHi-toi pitha", this is infact our local version of pancake by rice flour & salt only. It is mostly taken with green chilli & coriander leaves chutney or with molasses/jaggery.
Thanks for the info.. I can see now the difference.. it didn’t taste the same as vapa pitha so makes sense
Mamma mia Carrie, that was such an experience!
Thanks for sharing & much love ☺
You are so welcome 🥰
U r a nice person carrie. Wish u find peace in rural life. Have a great journey & be always safe prettiest.❤️
Thank you 😊

Wood Apple (Bel) is a fruit with unique taste. It is very beneficial for IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). If a person takes this food regularly, his/her stomach keeps sound.
That’s what Amit says.. is it because you don’t want to eat much of it?! 😆
@@carriepatsalis .... wood apple ( local name BEL ) is usually used to make juice and then taken. It's very good for stomach upset.
I am a Photographer. I also went to Barisal last year. Really, nice place and also peoples there so friendly.
Great place to visit 😊
What a beautiful lady ❤ such a positivity in your eyes 😍 I can listen to you all day long 😊 we are very honoured and happy to have you in our country thank you for traveling in our country 😄
Moment I will be there. Nature of Bangladesh wonderful. Great video published.❤
Actually those wood Apple use to make a juice...mix those with water and uses sugar as needed, it's really make amazing drink which is also good for your digestive system
I tried the juice later and actually liked it!
It's a pleasure to the eye watching the floating market of barishal ❤
Love to you always ❤
Good thing about your vlogs its not only the natural sites you are visiting but also discovering the local heritages we preserve. This are not common amongst other foreiners except few who just visit the recognised places. Thumbs up for that👍
Thank you! I have thoroughly enjoyed this trip 🥰
Thank you Carrie for taking us along.
Onec upon a time the whole Bangladesh was like that floating market, even in the centre of dhaka.there was no roads , only boats and boats ,river ,canals. Farmers used to bring the food everywhere.
Wow so amazing positive person you, you always promote Bangladesh god bless you 😇🥰
Many many thanks
usually the wood apples (kodbel) are not eaten like that, rather the inner fruit is mixed with bit salt and chilli flakes/ pepper to counter that slight bitterness. We call it Kodbel vorta (mashed wood apple). Usually street vendors sell these kodbel vortas a lot.
Funnily enough I tried guava with bit salt and it was good.. I reckon this would be the same
There’s a more beautiful and busy floating market nearby... The place is called Atghar, Kuriana and it specializes mainly on fruit selling so it's even better. We went there last year.
Would love to see a fruit market later in the year 🥰
Natural beauty this is our earth.
Your beauty makes the market more beautiful 😊❤
Lot's of love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳

I am Bangladeshi, but i didn’t know that there also exists floating market in Bangladesh.
When i was in school,i read about a floating market named "Tha Kha floating market of Thailand" and thought that floating market only exists in foreign country.
But after seeing your video,i became amazed that floating market existing in my country also!
The market's environment is too natural.
The boats are making of woods,no artificial products are seen!
I have to love my country much and have to know more.
Thanks for coming Bangladesh and making this amazing vlog and knowing me that the floating market i read in book not only exists in foreign country but in my country also.❤
Indeed.. there are apparently a couple more too.. I bet they would be amazing in the fruit season 🥰
This is same for me😆😆

Hay beautiful and gorgeous lady. Thank you to visit my country. Lot of love for you from my hart ♥♥♥♥🇧🇩🇧🇩
You usually make juice with the kind of wood apple you were holding. Raw one is not that tasty . There is a different kind of wood apple , that is really sour . You need to mix a little bit of sugar and salt . Or maybe a pinch of chilly powder . That's really tasty.
Later that day I got to try the juice.. so much nicer!
@@carriepatsalis Good to hear that. It's really refreashing . Have a wonderful journey .
Beautiful Amazing vloging

Also, there is a sour wood-apple, which is eaten with salt and spices.
The juice is so much nicer I discovered! Glad I tried it!
Beautiful video and monologue . You can make drink with wood apple , don't eat the seeds , seeds taste bitter This is chitoy Pitha similar to crumpet, taste good with golden or Maple syrup. Best wises
