    The best VFX work in an Indian movie, but not even close to the top 30 in Hollywood. I think you went over board with the energy effects and the colour saturation. The scene where SRK is kneeling and ready to jump surrounded by the golden energy all around him was too saturated and you can see the edges of the simulated golden energy. The climax scene when the Brahmastra is activated and the energy comes down from the universe is also too saturated. This should have been the money shot of the movie.

      @@YuviiYT Yes I know, but its still an excuse for the fact that our movies VFX are nowhere close to Hollywood. Our budgets will need to get to at least 700-800 crore, most of it spent on VFX before we get any where close.

      @RajSingh-xn8qd Před rokem +3

      @@YuviiYT yes, in fact two things need to happen before budgets like theses become less risky.
      1. The price of the average ticket will need to increase (this will happen when GDP per capita increases)
      2. The number of screens need to double or triple.
      It's all economics and will get better as Indian economy grows in next few decades by at least 2030. That does not mean we won't see 700-800 crore movies being made. We definitely will but they will be very risky for producers.

      It's a fucking fantasy film.
      They'll simulate it however they want it creatively.

    Those Fire effects are too much Cartoony😂, it doesn't look realistic. I should say this vfx company gives all they got, worked Hard on those VFX scenes but most disappointment was the Directors work. Every scene is too much Artificial Emotions it doesn't look Natural at all. Without emotions every VFX shots looks blank. Best Example was Rajamouli, Some scenes have VFX looks not that Great but we Feel weight on every scene. That's why His films are Global phenomena.

      Bro there is difference in the genre...This is supposed to be a super natural film, the powers are supposed to look loke superpowers and not like fire... also RRR didn't work because of the VFX...it worked because if the over the top action and storyline... western people aren't accustomed to seeing physics defying action sequence alot so why they got RRR, topped with masala songs...they went crazy... for us Indians who keep on seeing such mindless actions in every other movie...RRR was a good movie and not the best to come out of India... they won the Oscar for the song and not the movie...also you know the song was average and we got better songs here...but again...american....

      ever heard of creative choice??? that's the liberty a director has. in a fantasy world u can give any colour u want. Fire has different colors it depends upon the wavelength and if he has the power to emit a particular wavelength fire then u will see a different color.

      Because it's supposed to be a super power
      The fire looks different and realistic,Most of SS Rajamouli's movie only uses VFX mostly for Creatures and background replacement
