Saw them live for the first time at a music festival in Tennessee this weekend. Awesome show! An hour and a half of nonstop great southern rock!

Anybody that starts a song with "Two six packs of Shiner" has already won this Texas boy's heart. I heard they got their name from one of the guys in the Black Crowes. No meaning in particular...just drinking and throwing out names.

Fun song! It definitely brings back the feel of being young and adventurous (and just plain silly)! Gotta love their pajama-wearing breakfast shenanigans!😆

Great song and the most recent, usual version is not the one played here. That is way way long ago. Almost every concert I've seen online or have been to myself live is now:
Down to the lake...skinny dipping in the Chattahoochee. Got my finger in your sister's couchie." And Charlie doesn't usually sing the "punch line". WE DO. Think Muddy Waters “Hoochie Coochie Man. BBS does it down and "dirty" (for some) and it is just cool. (73-year old telling you like it is!). Love Blackberry Smoke. Go see 'em live.

  • @Long_Haired_Country_Boy

Saw them twice so far, the last at the historic Cain’s Ballroom, home of Bob Wills, and they are great! If you haven’t seen them live you need to!

Leaving work on a Friday, paycheck in hand, jump into your car and make a B-line for the bar. Those were the days.

I love this band because they can cover lynyrd skynyrd and Black Sabbath and sound perfect doing both. They do tuesdays gone and fairies wear boots like nobodies business. Look up their covers. They’ve written a few good songs themselves, but they really shine in great outdoor live shows and covers, lol

I much prefer being in the audience than in the show these days when it comes to heavy drinking. Good jam band. This is a song that could be a modern country song with a drum machine and an underwear model lypsyncing but these guys are the real deal and keep it authentic.

Yes!!! Great music and they are all down to earth, great guys. While bartending, for 9yrs, I've seen lots of bands come through and play. We had all types...Local guy playing acoustic, small bands just starting out, some bigger name singers/bands, and everything in between. But hands down, my favorite to see was our good buddy, The Wayne Mills Band opened for Blackberry Smoke. Wayne Mills Band would be my second fav. Two of the best!! Great Reaction Don

There are a great example of Georgia style southern rock. I wore this album out driving around Atlanta back in the day . Still listen to this one pretty regularly.

I know you did a lot Colter Wall stuff in the past months but I would like to see you react on "Caroline". I'm from Germany and I can translate all words he sings but I would love to see what it does to a native speaker when this one got a german guy almost to tears. Please do me that favour.
