Legacy: it did the impossible -- took the idea of a streaming sequel to The Karate Kid films and not only made it work but made the movies better.
John you should give the show another chance!
I love Cobra Kai!!! I’ve re-watched every season multiple times! I’m so excited for season 6!!!!! Also sad because it’s ending.
They actually just filmed one of the final episodes AT the convention center i work at. I didn't get to see what they filmed but they were filming all day!

Karate Kid is like my Star Wars and I’ve loved every bit of Cobra Kai. It manages to hit nostalgia without feeling cheap and wraps up a lot of loose ends from the movies.
The Kreese stuff gets a little ridiculous at times but that’s my only real negative.
Campea was excited for the show, but then he watched and its he wasnt too thrilled. What was he expecting? It surpassed allll my expectations.

I just find it amusing how many times John reminds audience how much he dislikes it every time he can.
The legacy of Cobra Kai is it shows you can take a classic property, which has been sitting dormant for years, and revisit it, to great success, if you’ve respect for the source material and for your audience.

The best part of Cobra Kai was the chemistry between Johnny and Miguel. They were great together.
Cobra Kai's popularity on CZcams Red is what got me to watch all of the movies for the first time. I love these characters, I love the lore, I can't believe I missed out for so long, and the fact that the showrunners put so much attention to detail is a product of genuine, non-toxic Fandom. This should be a gold standard for other studios with aging IPs on how to do a revival. I'm grateful that I got to be on this ride with you guys because Cobra Kai never dies. 🐍 👊 💯

watching this Cobra Kai series changed my perspective on Johnny and Daniel rivalry. all the while, i thought that Daniel is the one innocent but, watching again the back story Daniel is like the "intruder" in Johnny's relationship. Daniel is the one keep on lurking to Johnny's girl, knowing that they are still together.

Cobra Kai is so sick. Huge fan. It certainly does have moments filled with cheese, but it also has great depth, heart, awesome fight choreography, and layered characters who develop greatly over time. Can’t wait for the ending.

We all got to remember, this all started as a How I Met Your Mother joke, Zabka doing cameos there and on Hot Tub Time Machine got him and the idea out there, also a Music video before all that, these little bits did a snowball effect for an IP that even as a worldwide success, could be easily categorized as a product of its time, it's remarkable they even did one season, they're doing another big movie after this and i sincerely hope it's all in the same continuity
This show along with Top Gun Maverick will be analyzed to show how a dormant franchise can be revived.

It’s insane how long it’s been since this show started, and how it’s only gotten better in my opinion.
I will admit, I wasn’t and still am not a huge fan of the original film,
That said, I loved this show from episode 1.
As for its Legacy, I think this will stand as a prime example of how a legacy sequel can be done, in a way that doesn’t piss fans off.
It also proves, that just because a franchise loses its way,
That it can still come back stronger than ever.
Cobra Kai started safe, basically a direct follow up to the original film.
But then it took a huge swing,
taking Karate Kid 3, arguably the worst sequel, using its story and characters as the foundation for the entire series.
And dare I say, it actually made Karate Kid 3 a decent movie in retrospect,
Because we understand the characters more.
The show recaptured the energy of a classic,
enhances the sequels,
And does so in a way where people who haven’t seen Karate Kid, can get on board with this series.
Whether it be Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Halloween, Predator, so on,
So many franchises have made comebacks, to varying results, and with varying longevity.
Amongst them all, I think Cobra Kai has maintained itself most consistently, proving
That Cobra Kai, Never Dies.
Cobra Kai is my favorite Netflix show!
Netflix and other streamers really need to cut the crap on part 1, part 2 stuff. Subscribers pay a premium for a reason, and now a part 3.

I'm proud to say that I've been a fan of Cobra Kai since its days in CZcams Red. I believe it's a great show but I also admit that when I heard about it sounded kinda stupid xd, but I loved the show since day one. My only complain about it is the fact that the story has been centered a little bit more in Daniel since season 3 and I don't know if that's the smart thing to do because at the end of the day it must be Johnny's story. Other than that... No Mercy Bitches 🤘🏻

I liked this show a lot during the early seasons. But it got way too cheesy really fast.
The high school stuff was cheesy and the character Stingray who was a grown man hanging around teenagers
I mean it was always cheesy so 🤷♀️ but it’s still good despite that

I was really into the show...kinda fell off around season 4
Nah season 2 was the worst but only bcuz of the high school drama stuff with the teens.Season 5 felt rushed a bit I don't know it felt off but Terry Silver season 4 was definitely a highlight
