As I was listening to back-to-back CZcams's SNL themes versions all good to excellent, this one made me sit up and take notice.

This piece is hard to find on the internet. There’s no “official” version I guess cause the band has been mixing it up every Saturday for 40 years so this is the best version I can find to get into what the bass is doing and what the chords are. Y’all sound fucking great. Great great job
It’s always been a dream of mine to be the one who opens the show with “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!” They could bench me for the rest of the show and I wouldn’t care. The fact that I was able to that one thing alone would be enough.

The only thing wrong with this is that it's less than two minutes. I wish there was an extended version
If you understood what the opening is doing... I'm sure the production staff would have liked a longer version too. :)
90 seconds to take down the set from the cold open... and prep for the guest to walk out from the building facade past the band for the opening monologue... while the band is riffing away. Soon as the set is struck, they wind it up for the walk out of the host... idea is to have everything done in 90... and then the studio host walks out and everyone's going ape shit and whatnot clapping... and then they go into the final riff... and the host begins the monologue...
It's also why, as some have pointed out, there isn't a "song" specifically... the riff total length changes based on how long it goes to get the set struck and whatnot.
Studio 8H is ridiculously small but the few times I've seen it... it's always a scramble to get from cold open to the monologue... it's the fastest 90 seconds in TV. :D

Introduced in 1996...
This is a modified version of the US 2009 theme. All of SNL Korea's themes tend to be based on that particular version.

Very awesome. I would like to hear what the drummer would play if he was told to do what he wanted to do....you can tell that he knows all of the rudiments, and could put them together every way. Bass player is playing so effortlessly . Amazing.
