  • The all-new GoPro Hero 11 Black is here and is truly amazing!! In this video, I am testing the new Hyperview feature and it seems it will change extreme sports pov forever!! No post editing, no color grading or anything like that. Just some protune on-camera settings, but that's it!
    Let me know what you think in the comments below.
    Cheers y'all!

      Thanks dude!! The trails are soooo loose at the moment, you can’t really push the bike too much. Hoping for some rain soon!! haha!

      @@theodorouandreas1 here in Sydney Australia we had so much rain this year we cant wait for it to stop so we can ride. Well on the flip side, trails are not loose haha

    great run, im getting the hero 11 soon but definitely sticking to superview with hypersmooth boost... hyperview looks very spaced out

    • @theodorouandreas1
      @theodorouandreas1  Před rokem +1

      Hypersmooth is just too much for me. You just don’t have any understanding of how rough some of the trails are, and that "being on the driver’s seat" effect. Yes, hyperview is a bit spaced out, but that's the whole point of pov footage. Being able to capture the trail, the rider (handlebars or whatever), and also the surrounding environment and make the whole viewing experience even better!

    Nice riding... I've been using the G11 for biking images. The only issue I have with the wider perspectives (superview and hyperview) is it gives an unrealistic impression of speed and the latter gets a bit warpy on the sides. However, the added range of view is certainly nice.

    • @theodorouandreas1
      @theodorouandreas1  Před rokem +1

      Yeah i know what you mean. But you could always adjust shutter speed and some ND filters to create a more realistic point of view. I’m really liking the Hyperview to be honest as it gives me so many different mounting options now!

    Nice! is this mounted on your helmet?

    Wow those trails look like soooo much fun! Color looks good for sure. Hyperview is cool definitely for straighter trails. Good stuff.

    Salut, la batterie tient combien de temps en 4K/60 ? Merci

    • @theodorouandreas1
      @theodorouandreas1  Před rokem +1

      Hey! Sorry I don’t speak French.. But regarding the battery, I always use the Enduro batteries from GoPro, I shoot at 5.3K/24fps and I get through a full day of riding just fine! Never had to change a battery so far.
      Also, using the quick capture setting, really helps for battery life as you don’t forget the camera on while not filming.
      Hope that helps. 🙌
      Cheers!

    Very obvious distortion spots at 1/3 and 2/3 of the screen, horizontally.

    • @theodorouandreas1
      @theodorouandreas1  Před rokem

      Well, that was expected beacause the more you stretch and manipulate an image, the more distorted is going to look. I was shooting in 5.3K 30fps hyperview. You also have the option of 60fps but then your footage is gonna look way slower than in real life.
      Personally, I can live with a bit of image distortion but overall better viewing experience and some sick pov footage.
      Also, I'm sure that GoPro will fix that issue with image distortion at some point in the future.

    • @MarkusFinholt
      @MarkusFinholt Před rokem

      @@theodorouandreas1 Yeah I also expected the distortion to be worse, but I wasn't thinking it would be so divided into sections. They clearly used the same stretching technique as superview, essentially leaving the middle part unstretched. This means that the sides will be way more distorted to compensate. I think a better approach would be to not keep tye center area so linear. 360 footage with the same focal length as this looks much more natural.

    • @theodorouandreas1
      @theodorouandreas1  Před rokem

      With the Hero 11 i usually shoot at 5.3K/30fps, Shtutter speed at auto, White balance at 5500K most of the times, and I leave the colors at GoPro colors or vibrant so that i don't need to much color grading at post editing. This video has no editing whatsoever . It is straight out of the camera, both video and audio.
