Yeh I wish it went actually into their marriage there was heaps of source material after the wedding to work with which would have led into the next season. But i won't complain we did get a Mr Darcy moment afterall 🤣🔥

@@lawsin4761 the love story really centres around both of the over coming the demons and insecurities from the past. Kate with memories of storms and losing her mother and Anthony with a fear he will not live past 38 as his father had died at that age and he could never surpass him..they touched on it with the flashback scenes but not in relation to their love story.
@@samm5625 Ahh okay gotcha. Yes that would have been nice! I would have loved to see Anthony comfort Kate during the storm. Just more backstory for sure. Yes his fear of dying young would have been nice to see as well and how they cope, help each other and strengthen their bond from that. Basically, I just want more of them!!
I love this season. I just don't get it why people are disappointed about it. It breaks my heart, really.
they read the books and are upset the creators of the show dared to change some things and didn’t make an exact replica 😅😅

I’ve encountered both kinds but it’s so refreshing to see so many book fans love this season 2 so much, many being happy that they did it differently and for the better! I haven’t read the books but this season blew me away! I was kinda doubtful before watching because I loved season 1 so much but the more I watched, the more I couldn’t contain myself! It was brilliant!

Same here! What a great chemistry they have and so perfectly acted so the audience "could feel" so strongly what they were feeling. Love it and will rewatch for sure. Happy they will be back for the other seasons

Season 2 my very favourite season especially with Kate and Anthony their dynamic chemistry together was awesome I loved these two characters so very much I just gorged every scene they where in so glad their returning in season 3 hope to see their love evolve ❤❤❤

But I’m not as invested in any of the other siblings stories as I was for Anthony’s story and Daphne’s story :( I feel like I won’t like the upcoming seasons as much.

I did love their portrayal of the characters and the chemistry was amazing..but there were so many scenes and plot character growth that I was really looking forward to that didn't happen and was missed...unsure how the side plots with lady whistledown/fearheringtons will now go down...as none of that happened and Eloise was not supposed to find out about Penelope until end of book4!
Right? The thunderstorm scene was such an important scene for the change in their relationship and it isn't even here
Anthony was super lustful of Kate from the start and here it wasn't shown that way
And their whole marriage is different here
Edwina wasn't in love with Anthony
But nonetheless it was a good season
@@handleit_289 yes Edwina pushed Kate to choose herself! There was no anger there. The whole " I'll die before I reach 38" plot...that was really important!! Great season but wanted to see the book version.

I prefer season 1
She’s stunning!! The interview was hard to watch though. She must work on her public speaking, all of the “um… um, yea” become a bit distracting. Otherwise, You can tell she’s a fan of the show and the energy when she talks of her castmates is beautiful. Another great season!!
