Bell Sanction Helmet Review HD

- Me giving a review of the 2011 Bell Sanction helmet. I just got it and am very happy with it. I am not sure why the video is a little glitchy, sorry about that, but it should still get the point across. I also meant to say that the GoPro helmet mount works great with the holes on the top of the helmet. I am in no way a Bell representative, nor am I tied to the company.
I just recently rode at Balm Boyette with it for about 3.5 hours. It felt pretty good. As far as breathing, I could hardly even tell I had the helmet on--the front really lets a lot of air in. The padding on the sides was a little tight on my ears, but I think it will break in a little bit over time. Of course, the helmet was a little hotter than a standard XC helmet and I noticed the weight a bit more, but not too bad--probably as good as this type of helmet could be. I'm happy with it.
Thank you for the review. It really make my mind choosing a good helmet for downhill and also uphill sections with my AM bike.
According to my measurements, my head is about 22.5"-22.75", so I would say that a medium would probably be about right for you. In my opinion, for a helmet, it is better to go a bit tighter than to go too loose.

Oh, by the way, it doesn't come with the Fox sticker, I put that on the visor.
I just got it . Fit's pretty well. I could feel it a little tight around my cheeks but I can live with that since I'm almost sure after some riding it will came a little loose. Thanks again.

I don't know. It's hard to say, it depends on how tight the helmet is on your head. I have fallen a few times and afterwards noticed that the chin piece was scratched, but I didn't even know it hit the ground. So I guess it has protected my chin more than I realized at first. One thing I can say for sure is that it definitely protected my skull well. I went off a small jump and hit a rock pretty hard head first and it smashed the helmet, but I was fine. So I bought another one exactly like it

what side would you recommend for a 57cm and a little bit taller than average (XD) head.

I use it with my normal clothes (vans, jeans , sweat ) and goes well with this helmet ! It is really cool !

Maybe. I guess as long as the shield fits the overall shape of the helmet?
Im thinking about this helmet, looks great. Kinda wish it had the 2 d rings on it, they seem really durable compared to plastic clips.
@xXRandomestUserXx I'm pretty sure the 2012 version is almost EXACTLY the same. Sorry, not planning on buying another helmet any time soon.
