About the video, though... holly crap, how many gears do those bikes have? haha it sounds like a Fast and Furious scene.
Daniel Paz these bikes have 6 gears but we showed some scenes from different angles which makes it look the bikes might be having a 9-speed gearbox ;p

Now, being a bit more serious... I love that ktm, and I love now that gearbox, too. I love how even the gears sound, do you know what I mean? After the shift, the engine sounds like it had the same rpm than the last one. Amazing.

Daniel Paz the KTM is the same price as the Honda but if you opt for the ABS model of the CBR250R, it gets more expensive. ABS isn't offered on the RC 200 in India.
Ha. It isn't cheap at all. In my country, the Honda is more than twice the price of the Pulsar 200NS. One has to ask if its any intelligent to buy a Honda. But I insanely love that KTM.

i hope you guys have used an rc 200 that has done at least 3000 kms and 2 services.. i own an rc 200 that has done 5000kms and its power and acceleration is way far better than a new rc200. honda cbr250 is an awesome bike too. my request for all the reviewers is to use a bike than has been driven and tested for atleast 3 months rather than using a new bike. It takes time to unlock the real powers of a bike. thumbs up to the MotorBeam team..!

+Toshik Langade ktms are badass bikes..! Many people don't know to drive these in a proper way..! It will take atleast a month to study and get used to the bikes Super charged engine.! As far as I have driven it till now, the PRO's are 1. Amazing power, 2. Excellent handelling. 3.Sexy design and unique sound (it makes ppl watch you as you zoom on the road 😂), 4. Decent mileage ( for such a powerful bike, when driven under 8 RPM, 5. Top class instrumentation ( it shows all the information you want that 80% of the bikes don't do..! And has gear shift indicators.), 6. Quality braking ( even though it has no ABS). Super fast acceleration ( my bike reached 100 in just 7 seconds). The CON's are 1. Heating problem ( this bike heats up quickly when driving in traffic and is very difficult to drive it wearing shorts as it may heat up your legs) 2. Less smooth ( ktm rc is a die hard track bike. It Super powered single cylinder engine makes it to vibrate a little during high rpms, but it never disappoints in handelling.) 3. Riding position ( as told before these bikes are mainly track oriented bike and the manufacturer has made the riding position to look the same. Your palms ache after driving for an hour continuesly and your whole body aches while riding pelion) 4. Service and spare parts ( typically speaking, owning a ktm is like owing a Mercedes. Service and spare parts are available only in their authorised service centers. Spare parts and services are little pricey. Spare parts availability depends upon the dealer.) 5. Tyres ( tyres are sometimes little slippery. It happens when you press the brake so much that it locks the tyres completely which leads to skidding. I prefer to change the tyres after the bike has done 10k kilometers..... That's all for the pros and cons...! KTMs are awesome bikes. There may be many posts coming up saying half of the ppl who bought ktm are no more. It's 100% false. It lies in the hand of the user to use it in a right way. Trust your bike as you trust in God and it shall never let you down. Avoid rash driving and please wear a helmet..!

ABS is an Acronym that stands for Anti-lock Brake System. it the bike notices the wheels lock up under heavy braking it will stop you from skidding by using the computer to apply the most amount of braking power possible. my rc has it. its awesome. especially in the rain. but you cant do stoppies unless you turn it off.
First of all its 200cc vs 250cc,
secondly if the rc was 250cc it would kill the cbr. So don't get too excited that the cbr is better, it has an advantage of 50cc more.
It's not about the advantage, the RC 200 is lighter, so consider that too. It all boils down to the gearing.
Theoretically the rc 200 should take the cbr 0-100 after which the cbr will be faster, maybe the rider didn't shift properly, and no the 50cc does matter, n also the higher torque in the cbr gives it a upper hand. The 50cc extra would have given it more ps n more torque. Just like how its not justified to compare the r15 to the rc200, exactly like that its not justified to compare the rc200 to cbr 250 n say the rc200 is slower. Anyday the rc 200 is the fastest 200cc bike. Cheers
emmanuel joseph so in that way, one simply can't compare the KTM RC 200 with any other bike? The RC 200 doesn't take off faster because of the torque advantage of the CBR250R, plus the tall gearing and higher top speed of the Honda. The 250R does 100 km/hr in third gear while the RC does it in fourth.
Yup very true n dont get me wrong the cbr is a good machine, im defending the rc cause it is at a disadvantage cause of a smaller engine n the rc looks way more hotter 😀

The reason why this is a valid comparison, considering the Honda has 50cc on the KTM, is because while the RC is built for speed and performance, the Honda is very much toned down. It's a reliable and comfortable motorcycle that was not intended to win any races

I'm really confused between the Honda CBR 250R and KTM Duke 200. I used to like the Duke because of it's styling. But after seeing your drag racing videos against both RC200 and Duke 200, I've changed my mind.
My main use is of high speed commuting and about 30-35 kms/day.
