I like Shou Sugi Ban. I put it in several of my build videos and would recommend burning it like an alligator skin and then use Nyalox flap brushes getting a light, mid, and dark shade. 👍

I made one of these a few month ago for a friend who had a friend who wanted to buy one, sold for $80, took me about 2hrs total from cut, stain, to sand. stained it a dark walnut color, then when that dried I taped off the peaks and added a white cover stain for the "frosted peaks"

@@AreBaloni I get you wanna make attractive content. But I guess it you'd be selling that for 170$, you wouldn't be showing everyone on CZcams.
Making stuff isn't the hard part, selling it for appropriate price is. Wouldn't you agree?

@@djVania08Yes I would, and I have done that with other products I’ve been selling, in some of my other videos. I live in Norway, so I dont worry about competition.
100%. But the point of this video was to show you a cool project that is cheap to make, and requires basic tools, that you could either sell, or keep for yourself, which is what I did :)
