Rest in peace Neil. A master of your craft. Thanks guys for all you did for the fans. My life is richer because of your music. Great memories and some great times 👍
Discovered Rush in 1977 when I was aged 17. Saw them perform seven times in the UK, before I emigrated to South Africa. I doubt the band will ever grace our shores here. One funny thing, I introduced my Indian wife to Rush, she said, it's amazing how just three guys can make so much noise..lol. She later came to like the group, her favourite song was Roll the Bones.
I met Geddy outside the Glasgow Apollo in the early 80s and he seemed tiny. Yet every video seems to show him as average height, strange. Anyway, he was, as expected, a delightful guy.
Rush is and always will be my favorite band. The material after Moving Pictures was weak and I didn't follow them much after. Got to see 3 tours before that and I feel I saw Rush at their best!
Tom Sawyer was overplayed. The radio station wants to sell me, it'll play any Rush except Tom Sawyer. Obscure stuff that was never in the top 40, Super Kudo points. I'm in Maryland listening to St Louis Missouri radio station that caught me when they played Snow Dog in the middle of the day. I've been a faithful in kshe listener ever since. Yea Alexa!
Thank you for staying true to yourself. i lived in Toronto in 1970-71..I..adore your independent sassiness and uniiquieness. well done

I really enjoy listening to Neil articulate his thoughts... Moreso now . Thanks for sharing 👍
My left ear loved this.
That Neil Peart quote at the start made me feel all bad and guilty about fantasising about him... sigh...
