    Ironically, the K860 was so difficult to press down on that it actually gave me MORE fatigue than a regular keyboard. Hopefully that's been addressed with this one, as I'm still looking for something to replace my worn-out Microsoft Sculpt.

      I first bought a k860... then I realized it was huge
      ... then I bought the ms sulpt ... then I realized it is the best ergo keyboard on the market.
      I've been waiting ever since to logitech bring out a k860 with a ms sculpt kinda layout
      ... very important that the home-end-pgup-pgdown keys are available.
      I've also got the mx keys mini
      ... very pleasant to type on
      ... but not to navigate on as a developer
      I really miss the home-end-pgup-pgdown keys.
      So to this day, I think the ms sculpt is the best keyboard ever made in human history
      ... but it can be improved with logitech fucntionality.
      ... also the wrist pad of the k860 is silky smooth.
      But I also am still rocking the golden standard of the ms sculpt.
      I think they own a patent or something because... it's obvious this is the better keyboard.

      Same here lol - I've worn through several MS sculpt keyboards over the years. I try other things, but just end up coming back to the sculpt! I really do envy the rock-solid connectivity of Logitech products, though.@@b25671

    Dear Logitec. This looks like a great product. I d buy it, if you d remove the number pad on the right hand side. Without the number pad, I could place the mouse on a perfect ergonomic place. Thanks for considering

      Omg when will they ever release a keyboard with a palm rest, without a number pad?
      And with home-end-pgup-pgdown keys.

      This is only slightly longer than my TKL mechanical keyboards!There is no need to stretch right arm much if any!

  • @agreatd
    @agreatd Před 10 měsíci +5

    A decade later, still no back lit ergonomic keyboard, exactly zero changes compared to k860, might as well not release it at all, hopefully quality is better at least since my k860 already is missing some letter markings on keys due to poor quality paint

    • @timschulz9563
      @timschulz9563 Před 10 měsíci +3

      Why would you need a backlight? It's for people who type a lot, most of them are probably touch typists. But what I don't get is why it has no negative tilt. The 860 seems to be the more ergonomic choice so far.

    • @Omabatfartsbruh
      @Omabatfartsbruh Před 10 měsíci

      why did you spend $120 on this weird lookin board, because that's proper keyboard money we're talking about!
      you could've gotten an enthusiast grade mechanical keyboard for that much money, like a keychron or drop

    • @timschulz9563
      @timschulz9563 Před 10 měsíci

      @@Omabatfartsbruh Probably because it's ergonomic. There are no real ergonomic alternatives with conventional layouts. The Keychron models lack the palm rest and negative tilt. Drop is not available internationally (and probably doesn't even offer ISO layout).

      @@timschulz9563 I start typing at 4 AM or so, using lights is too early and outside is too dark to see keys, and of course i barely look at keyboard but having such option at least once in 30 years of ergo keyboards would be nice

    75% keyboard - with palm-rest - with home-end-pgup-pgdown - no number pad
    Please develop a 75% keyboard - With Home-End-PgUp-PgDown (like mx keys mech.mini)
    With a palm rest.
    Just a normal simple 75% keyboard with a palmrest.
    So a normal easy simple keyboard - Without the number pad
    Also - Upgrade mx-keys mini - With home-end-pgup-pgdown.
    Also - Create a K860 ergo without the number pad
    ... this keyboard is way to big for comfortable mouse use.
    Your 75% keyboards all lack the very convinient home-end-pgup-pgdown keys.
    (except for mx-keys-mech-mini)
    ... it's frustrating.
    Please take this in consideration.

    Interesting. But the MX Mechanical is the best.

    • @evancycles
      @evancycles Před 10 měsíci +3

      The MX Mechanical is not the best choice for me. It is for you. It has many excellent features, but the MX mechanical is somewhat disappointing after having it for a while. If you are looking to swap keys for higher quality, well, sorry but the space bar is incompatible with normal space bar key sets, and the key caps are made of cheap plastic. The lettering is printed vs. double shot. Mine H button started creating a pinging sound after year. Every time I hit H, an annoying pinging sound that is just barely audible, but annoying nonetheless. The battery MX mechanical keyboard is sealed inside a plastic casing internally so you cannot replace yourself. It is still a good if not great keyboard it it lasts, but it is not the best. There is many other options out their in the market. Sure they don't sell them at Best Buy... Also the MX Mechanical is not ergonomic, so if that's something that appeals to you, or you need then the MX is not the best. If the Wave Keys is more comfortable, and less prone to the faults of mechanical keyboards, the ocasional sounds of the mechanical mechanisims resonating, but is comfortable, and somewhat silent it might be a great choice.

      I love the MX Keys WITHOUT the mechanical keys. It's the best feeling when it comes to typing (I got tired of the clicking sound on keyboards at this point). It suits most of my day to day workflow.

    • @b25671
      @b25671 Před 8 měsíci

      @@roundabout-host The layout is the best... but not in typing comfort I think.
      For me, the ultimate "logitech" keyboard would be
      - k860 comfort (palm rest)
      - mx mech-mini layout
      - mx keys keys
      I would definitly buy that.
      The wave is... almost there... but the numberpad really is a dealbreaker for me.
      But marketing has to do its job also I guess.
      ... so the important thing is... don't buy the wave keys... if you hate the number pad.
      Also... there is a reason why the ms sculpt still competes in the top 5 ergo keyboards
      ... 10 years after its release.
      IMO it's the best ergo keyboard ever made.
      But it's really time for an upgrade.
