Dear Logitech, I love the subtle design and the travel option, but I desperately wish you included a mouse option :(
A touchpad would be the preferred input device for the audience we designed Casa for, as the majority use the built-in trackpad of their laptop instead of a mouse. Also, a mouse would require more space than a touchpad, as limited space is a common WFH challenge for the Casa audience.
Just use your Bluetooth mouse if you got one. You don’t have to use the track pad if you prefer the mouse. I will be purchasing mouse too when I get mine 😁

While looking at this I keep thinking, if you have a small space why complicate it with this product that literally adds nothing.
Exactly, they're charging $270 for it here in Australia. This is basically a stand, trackpad, keyboard combo. All three of them can be purchased for way less, $50 for a decent heigh adjustable stand, $80 for their own mx mini, $90 for their mx anywhere 3 (at sale price obv).
The only "appealing" factor is you can store the keyboard and trackpad inside the stand itself. I can see some people buying this but they should honestly wait for a sale as I think this will go on sale pretty quickly.
I have to travel quite a bit. I have a stand, keyboard and my mouse. I see myself buying this product, cos there’s always a chance to damage at least my keyboard. So having a robust place to store it all is handy. I believe it would go nice with my lifestyle. But yeah, I would buy it on sale only.
The product is clever and looks thoughtfully configured and beautifully designed, but I wonder if it's too niche. The venn diagram of people who travel frequently AND work when they travel AND need a full desk setup AND aren't in an office AND can afford the size and weight to carry the whole set with them seems like a very tiny slice of the market. Maybe if it were a couple bucks cheaper and had a more Thinkpad-ish appearance you could market to big corps to issue to their road warriors. But it looks like they are marketing this more to independent creatives and self-employed freelancers who will purchase this for themselves, particularly with the wispy music and romantic imagery, which again feels like a vanishingly small niche.

for you maybe. i need something that is portable and i can have these three items loose or all compact like this. i prefer like this
