well, that was fun! xD i will probably redo this tas sometime after i finish item abuse 1 for there are some areas i could have improved on, but for a hellish hack, i was very pleased by the finished product. - Hry

Are you kidding? That's a terrible idea! When they want to do jumps like that, They must have Huge Shells, Dinosaurs of every colour of the rainbow, Trampolines, Poor dumb souls to jump on and excellent juggling skills to survive, And their parent's/families permission. And anytime they die, They have to respawn like every eternity in order to make it to the finish line ;)
And a little spin? Nah!! They have to do big and long spins. Long, Long spins like a ballarina :)
It's true, I once jumped off of a trampoline straight into a pit of lava (dont ask how i got there) and it bubbled up and sent some flying at me. All I had to do was spin and I bounced off the liquid magma. Kids should DEFINITELY try it at home.
The boss battle seriously takes the cake though. You go through all that hell just to to face Big Boo and there is literally nothing for you to stand on but two shells.

Excellent Job. I'm only proud because there weren't any MAJOR skips. I just didn't know about the portable disco glitch until after I released it, and I forgot u could get running speed in the orange room, so I didn't make the jumps longer =(

A 5:52 do 0.25% speed and spam the spacebar every frame and if you pause it correctly you will see mario jumping in mid-air without a shell. He's ducking in the air. Also, a little bit before that, to get to that platform, mario does a spin to a normal jump. Watch Closely.

+TM45 Gaming The creator for these ROMs has made many levels in Super Mario Maker that are REALLY difficult to beat. Check out U-Break and P-Break, the two most difficult levels made in Super Mario Maker.

You can tell they didn't since Yoshi's arms are orange. I have no idea what made Nintendo have to change Yoshi's arms to green when they were orange in Super Mario World but I don't like it.
Because they used the Mario Advance 2 sprite.

You can do some of the rooms for practice and whatnot but it's impossible without savestate and some tricks

well, he is using an emulator to slow down the game and re-play instantly if he fails. otherwise, it would be nearly impossible to the average gamer.

I don't mind glitches being used, nor do I mind glitches being forced to be used, *if* that is the point of the game/level. In this particular instance it seemed not to be the case, hence my initial remark. This seemed to be a map, at least for a while, that could be played without using glitches.

ProjectEsia No I haven't :/ I understand the concept of modding and hacking (have done both and am a software engineer) but the communities around various hacks and mods differ from time to time. Even within speedrunning communities there's different view points on what's good/bad. Like inbound only vs anything goes for half life and source games.
I just gave my opinion that I prefer levels that can still be beat without TAS _in theory_, meaning without doing frame-by-frame playing to get a glitch or "hack" right. Wall jumping is one of those things.
