      Definitely.
It’s Leonard’s own fault it never worked with Alice or Alex; if he just dumped Priya as soon as she left and moved back home, he’d have been perfectly happy with Alice.
In Alex’s case, Leonard was too committed and attached to Penny, plus he would have been a hypocrite if he’d chosen Alex but granted she was perfect for him and wouldn’t have treated him how Penny did.

Honestly, she's one of those who is so good no matter what (and I adore Lois in Malcolm in the Middle), she could have been made a regular and I'd have been happy. Plus I think Leonard was due a bit of compassion given that even Penny, despite knowing how cruel, cold and calculating his soulless, hypocrite of a mother was, still often downplayed it to Leonard's face and made out like he was overreacting to her lifetime of nastiness. So Jane could have filled that role for a few episodes as Leonard legitimately got over some of that trauma.

Basically it's industry jargon because they literally deal in those types. If you're casting a movie you're going to say I want a young blond sexy but nice doable next door type. Not a young blonde sexy but mean and nasty and the sheets type.

I know this in California. But do psychiatrists (since she is prescribing drugs) do therapy in Cali.
I am from Texas. Psychiatrists mostly do prescription drugs, some do ECT's, some may do a little bit of therapy to basically delve into your probnlem. but mostly it is to get to advising lifestyle changes, adjust medications (to prevent interactions) and prescribing therapeutic drugs and procedures.
Therapy is mostly done by psychologists (PhD's in psychology, Masters in psychology) and counselors.
For a program that has characters dealing in advanced level pyhsics and mathematics, I was presently surprised that the writers knew such advanced level subjects (I know they have consultants for the details, but the writers must known some stuff to write for an episode to bring in the consultants.
So if they knew such advanced level science and astrophysics why are they making a basic mistake in not knowing what therapists do vs psychiatrists. In Texas therapists can't prescribe drugs - no medical license, no prescribing meds.

If her agent had called her doable, she wouldn't freak out because that's industry jargon. But when Howard says it it's talking about her as a person not a product. As a successful product she has the potential to earn millions of dollars and become financially independent.
So even though Howard used the same word, the context and meaning and emotional impact or quite different.
If Howard had been a powerful Hollywood agent who could get her jobs and was talking business with her then she would have reacted differently.

@@samdushukyan9595 it's all tangled up with informed consent and self-control.
Firstly the difference between a compliment and harassment often depends upon whether the person giving the compliment is considered attractive or Not by the person receiving the compliment. Handsome guys and pretty women get away with saying and doing things that result in punishment for average or unattractive people.
Even with Hollywood oh, the context matters. If the agent is talking about her as being a doable type to get her a job in a movie then she's probably fine with it. But if the same agent is talking about her as doable to his friend she may feel degraded and uncomfortable.
Men make similar choices around hard labor. No one wants to be an Alaskan fisherman. But for several thousand dollars a week, they fill the boats.
Context always matters. Consider that another person says you look hot and they want to kiss you. One it's a nice attractive girl you know. To it's a crazy looking girl who still hot that you don't know. Three it's a really unattractive woman who's very overweight and has body odor and is missing teeth. four is a six-foot-five 280 lb man. 5 is a mid 50s female is extremely wealthy and can take you around the world on her yacht and may end up giving you close to a million dollars in cash over the course of the next two years.

However, when a non industry person says the same thing it's offensive to her.
I agreed with you that these term is potentially offensive to us. Bit even of it is eradicated, then a new word will be used because these need to quickly communicate that you have talent that can fill the part, jargon and abbreviations arise naturally
movies and plays with 'doable' parts will continue to be made and need a quick way to filter down thousands of actors to a few hundred quickly.
