I love how it mentions he mastered "almost" all the martial arts, like they somehow thought it would be less ridiculous than saying he mastered ALL of them like in the comics.
You gotta admit, that would be a hella ton of programming, and research to just do almost all 160 martial arts in not one, not two, not three, but four Arkham games.

Origins really gave me ZERO YEAR vibes. The way they interject all the insane trials he endured around the World... Being buried alive, fighting an endless stream of Scottish brawlers, philosophy.
They did an excellent job of showing someone who has been trained but is learning his craft. Also, I am a boxing coach for the Gloves and PAL, and see a lot of great snap on his punches and apply full body momentum in his shots and counters

I think a big reason these video game variants stack up so well is because they don’t have multiple writers just doing anything they want with them. ONE good story equals more consistent feats with most likely less outliers unless the story need it

Yeah they’d be only slightly weaker than their comic book counterparts which are op. I’d say in suicide squad they might have to nerf Flash and maybe Superman but I don’t think they’d be at their full strength mind controlled anyway

I think the flash is just playing with the whole squad as shown in the trailer so he is not taking them serious and as a result the squad has a chance to beat him
There was one time I was playing Arkham Knight (this was actually recent) and throughout the entire game, I got flashbacks of some of the old games, most definitely Arkham City and with it all coming back to me, Batman gave me the resemblance of Kratos, but instead of the God of War, he was the God of Justice. I can never get that thought out of my mind; it's unseeable to me now. From the start of his grief when his family dies to the day he became something more; the way he fights the most notorious, wanted criminals within one whole night makes me think of Kratos himself fighting the Gods of Olympus (and some) over and over and over again until the very end. It's terrifying, but badass.

I don't think Batman just overpowered the Titan venom in Arkham Asylum. He trained his body to it's peak, so it's safe to say he trained his immune system too, injecting himself with different types of venoms, poisons and diseases, from least to most letal from many different plants and animals until he achieved a natural immunity from them, and that prepared him to overpower the Titan venom.
My head canon is the suit enhances his strength somewhat maybe like 1.5-2 times his regular strength and the beyond suit which can do 10x plus strength augmentation is an evolution of this tech.
Give him his credit those suits are armor.
Exactly it makes sense, like wearing an exoskeleton.
I mean thay makes alot of sense really..For eg..arkham states the reason the grappling hook doesn't rip off his arm is because the suit has padding and is basically an exoskeleton enhancing his strength...in a nutshell his suit is a good excuse for his superhuman strength

He's peak human. That's what Captain America is. The only difference is that Batman reached it through will and training. It has never been intended for the character to be real life regular. If you want his suit to be the reason for his strength then he is just reduced to being Ironman with less effective suits.

He was poisoned in Arkham City as well. So a lot of what he does in that game, he is also basically dying.

I've always imagined Bruce had a Goku thing going on where he doesn't have to study a fight style long to suddenly have a grip on it and even begin to incorporate into his own methods effectively. He would have to be like that with most things really to be as ridiculously skilled as he is. Freakin galaxy brain

It was theorized in-universe, like Martian Manhunter, that Bruce had photographic memory, which allowed him to become that skilled.
It's also why he remains tormented by his parents' death, he will ALWAYS RELIVE THAT NIGHT FOR AS LONG AS HE LIVES.
After Asylum batman just casually went to stop two-faces robery like it was another day.Keep in mind he had been fighting people all night,running around arkham asylum, had been dozed with fear toxin like 50 times and he had just blown up his hand like 5 mins ago and carried all his equipment on him. Anyone would be exhausted after that but he just keeps going💀
Yeah this is why I believe he is the strongest version of Batman w/out gadgets and amps. Dude was exhausted in the Knightfall comic after fighting a couple of guys in Arkham Asylum meanwhile Arkham Batman did that with no sweat. 💀💀💀

Batman was never intended to be realistic. Just a peak human relative to the fictional world he exists in. Peak human in a world of world breaking super powered beings is not going to be realistic.
Let's not forget batman is peak Human without the suit. Put a peak human inside of a highly advanced suit designed to increase his strength speed and durability and you reach the superhuman tier.

Forgot what comic it is but the Avengers are fighting dying universes and they fight the DC equivalent and Black Panther fighting knock off batman says he's a better fighter then him, Batman solos captain America in an official cross over comic, I think he'd be able to bear Daredevil but I doubt he can beat Moon Knight

My personal headcanon to explain Batman's enhanced physicality on top of his trained capabilities is that he utilizes the mind over matter training he picked up in his travels to control the autonomic nervous system like with the Wim hof method which has been proven to increase your strength by up to 30% as well as enhance your bodies healing speed and immune system response as well as control your heartrate, respiration and body temperature so I think Batman could easily put the Wim hof method to good use.

To be fair, super soldier doesn't mean superhuman. It's just that the individual in question is at the peak of human physical capabilities. They're at the peak of each age group and they remain in their prime for a lot longer than a normal human and even some metahumans. The only thing truly superhuman about super soldiers is their immune system and Batman isn't very far removed from that either.

@@IvaNTheUnStoppable nah bro, I'm just referring to the physiological difference between Batman and a super soldier like Capt America. It's just a working theory, but, I believe healing factors are why certain characters are as strong as they are. I mean, if you look in the comics, characters who's abilities stem from their healing factor usually have an increase in strength proportionate to the strength of their healing factor. Cap doesn't have as strong a healing factor as someone like Wolverine or Deadpool, but, he's in their league.
Now, look at How Logan and Wade slice through metal that a normal human shouldn't be able to. If their strength wasn't enhanced, they would have just as much success as the rest of us. Not to mention the fact that Wolverine was shown holding his own with Cap on the show Ultimate Spiderman. While he was just trying to ensure that his senses were correct and wasn't actually trying to kill him, he still matches him blow for blow.
Next exhibit is Deadpool 1&2. He's shown lifting people up like it's nothing. Then, he's shown running a sword through Ajax's shoulder into concrete like it's child's play. Now, I do have to admit that Wolverine is a special case since he has adamantium bones. However, if you look at their feats, I'm sure there's gonna be a discrepancy based on the strength of their healing factor. I even implore you to look at others like them including Sabertooth, James Hudson, US Agent and maybe even others I didn't think of. I know US Agent might disprove my theor since he's significantly stronger than the others, but, I believe that, assuming there's proper scans, everything else should check out.

For example, Spiderman is only around 10x stronger than the the strongest regular human at minimum. The real world strongest man was able to lift 2 tons. However, I do know that the official strength listings aren't spot on by their own admission.
Oh yeah.. the official listings is to be taken with a grain of salt. I have Feats of Spider-Man lifting over a hundreds of tons lol

So it's kinda hard to differ where these characters scale in comparison to each other. Also it's a super hero, they gotta show it somehow to explain their differences to us.
It explains inconsistencies in scaling, even if you've already evaluated them before. Like the difference in the number of martial arts mastered.
deathstroke is a league above batman and the writers or game developers always try to nerf deathstroke when it comes on to a one on one fight between slade and bruce and real deathstroke fans know or real comic book fans know that the real deathstroke could have ended batman real quick if he wanted to and slade's design is so cool in origins and I like the boss fight but come on bro, batman is not in the same ball park as slade.

at this point batman has the greatest superpower know to mankind which is infinite plot armor and you guys can't disagree with that just look at the stats. If slade even had the powers and abilities as the doom slayer he would still loose to batman you know why because batman has damn good plot armor, if he could train and workout to become super soldier tier then what is the purpose of slade being an actual superhuman when even him for sure can train intensively to become stronger but then a regular human just so happens to be just as strong as him, it just doesn't make any sense.
Honestly if you think about it. If you read enough different comic book characters. This isn't just a Batman issue. Just a human issue in general. There's other humans other than Batman that still can hang with super soldiers even though they're not on serum.
