#tesla #cybertruck #update - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Autopilot is probably running in shadow mode to compare what it would do to what you are doing.
Exactly. The size and driving is unlike any other car tesla has they are clearly collecting data and telemetry to tune the algorithms. It's amazing how many supposedly professional reviewers are too dumb to realize this
Same with the lockers. Pay 20k extra to be free beta testers and get extra clicks for money then whine about it 😢
@@whodat9198 You're probably right but what difference does that realization have on the current state of the product though
@@jngobngo the difference is the lockers were just activated so that is actually current, and the self driving will be too. Whining about it especially after you bought it with that knowledge ahead of time means you did it for clicks or are just an emotional sad sack
@@whodat9198 +100. They knew exactly what they were buying. Nobody put a gun to there head and made them buy it, they just had to be one of the first for $$$$ clicks. This is what comes with being first. I'm just tired of the whining in every dang CyberTruck video.
Still collecting relevant data no doubt
Would definitely use the bed for “low key” camping.
Hope there’s an update for using the self leveling and continuous outlets in the future.
For the turning radius comparison, you should have marked your start and end points with spray chalk and measured the difference.
Exactly, over scientific feet 😂
Worth noting, as dirtytesla did, that the trunk will try harder to close in subsequent tries. Basically “oh you tried again, ok, if you’re sure”
So the increased damage might just be because you didn’t close it all the way in between attempts.
It still is "fix" for a stupid problem.
Rivian frunks will do the same damn thing to your finger! Don't hear anyone lambasting rj though for it?🤔
Just like nobody is cursing rj for cutting 23% of rivians total staff since July of 2022. 17% of staff cut in the last 12 months alone! 😏
Rivian has also burned more capital up now than tesla raised in its entire existence.
@@amoneoudini1044
He's talking about the learning algorithms
If the frunk failed to close, the car entre phase 2 which will close harder
Phase 3 is harder and harder
@@amoneoudini1044
You should fully close the frunk to reset the algorithms
The frunk closed harder each time you try, the logic is if you keep trying you think it should be able to close and maybe a bag or something is blocking it and with slightly more force it should be able to close.
Yep. A person (who is sane and not malicious) will move their hand after the initial soft tap.
Tip, if you want the update to start immediately without the 2 min countdown. You can tap fast on the timer like 5+ times and it'll jump to just a few seconds remaining
Brings cucumbers. Forgets tape measure... 👍
He might have thought to calibrate the cucumbers.
Pinch algorithm is a learning algorithm. It pushes more force every time it failed to close.
Thanks again for the great production on the video as always Jordon. We definitely need more off road testing.
Love the walk thru! nice job
With all those frunk safety tests it amazes me to see how many people think their fingers are as brittle as a cucumber or a carrot
Well, the bones in the finger makes it brittle, but bit more brittle than a carrot. Maybe, he should try the hotdog?
Great improvements and explanations! 👏👏
acording to tesla the trunk pushes harder the more times you try to close it, like if there was a lot of stuff in your fronk you'd want it to push a little bit harder to make sure it closes completly
Sleeping in the bed with the tannue closed is not an edge case. I agree with you. They need to allow us to close the tono when in camp mode. Massive oversight or on purpose to sell you a overpriced tent.
Camp mode also leaves on the hvac, they should have allowed a pass through of HVAC into the bed.
The question is can it now turn around in the lot to make it back to the repair shop after delivery?
Gnaw gnaw gnaw...
Oh no, the car ate Jordan! 😅
This would have made the video more entertaining and would made it get more clicks.
u do the best reviews
That is amazing
It is crazy that Tent doesn’t get HVAC from the car nor do the front seats fold to sleep inside safety of the cabin which would be my preference.
Such a bad design for off-road truck with big battery.
Model Y as of right now is a better camper than off-road Cybertruck and it’s just sad
Especially because they put so much design into the silly tent. It's not like the camping feature was a last minute afterthought.
Well done Sir! :)
Are the Persian cucumbers better than the other kinds?
Using forced-perspective (and wilhelm scream) in your video intro! Again, you're killing it! Great work Jordan!
Forced-perspective as in you made yourself look like a giant compare to the Cybertruck 😂
Still in Rivian camp just so much better 😊❤
After buying a Tesla, I switched to team Tidal. I've tested them side by side and it sounds the best.
Apple Music user, from 3 artist friends it’s the most accessible and pays them the most.
as someone who doesn't own everything Apple, Apple music is the most inaccessible and least user-friendly compared to all other options, sadly.
You don’t need to own apple everything to access it, but I was referring to pricing. User-friendly is your opinion, I prefer that UI over Spotifys too though.
Oh, I see. For me in the US, the top three music apps are the same price of $10.99 a month (excluding deals/bundles). I agree; I like Apple Music's UI the most on Apple devices, but outside the ecosystem, the UI varies from device to device and has syncing issues.
Don’t we all buy something based on what it is currently? If it gets better from that point, bonus. Most legacy vehicles will never get improvements, although many said they would. 🤷🏼♂️
Team CZcams Music! Tried out Tidal as a potential fall back, but the value of youtube premium with youtube music is too good for me to pass up.
I have yt premium and spotify
At least you for the off road capabilities now. TFL has not gotten their update yet!
100s of millions of cars overs the decades will damage your fingers if you leave them in the way, so why is it now an issue?
Team Pocketcasts!
Team CZcams Music. Has all I need in good enough quality for my ears, and is very easy to use.
and youtube with no ads. youtube music all the way..
Tesla neural link ready yet for driver's update?
When are you going to do a comparison against the R1T?
we all know what happened last time Jordan drove a triple motor tesla..............
Theres still a "download pending" icon on the screen after the download 🤔
That’s just for the Beach Buggy game. 👍🏼
The more you keep trying to close the frunk the harder it will try and close, algorithmically.
Thank You Everybody for All that you are doing for our Planet Earth.... Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. Namaste
🙏🏻 😊 ✌ ☮ ❤
Production of Cybertruck remains very impressive at Giga Texas so that bodes very well for current owners that this did not bankrupt Tesla so there should be ability to get service support parts etc but also future improvements very much in the offing. Great if imperfect release of something so new when isn't that the case think personally I would give Cybertruck a few Years first before looking at instead of Rivian R1T or Ford Lightning or even R2T even. Lucid might have a pickup truck bev en route as of course is Chevy this Fall. Tesla Model Y might be worth a look tho.
Pro update. I’d still wait for everything on the sticker to be there before I’d buy
I'm on Team FM Radio :/
Team Apple Music here! Wish Tesla had full Carplay support ;).
The Frunk app now includes the option for "Bottom Surgery" and "circumcision" mode as well as pinch sensor. 🤣
You didn’t try your bare finger in the frunk?
13:58 Hmm, so it's basically a superior version of creep. That's interesting.
Jordan try your fingers or else
After the update there appears to be a yellow download icon on the top of the screen. Is there another update pending already?
That’s for the beach buggy game. 👍🏼
Think the frunk should be called the “maw”.
Let’s try to keep the rear axle on this one
A cucumber is not a finger, but that’s a huge improvement. But now will ice and snow cause problems in not-California?
It will close on fingers
but not hands.
You have _clearly_ never been to the Mt. Shasta area! (There’s way less snow here where I live in Missouri - in fact, any place in MO.)
@@MrTekniqsevidence? If it’s that twitter video, it proved that it will if you repeat it over and over, because as the engineer said, it increases the force each failure. If your finger is just in there when you try to close it, it shouldn’t. Masochists beware though!
@@MrTekniqsevidence?
@@float32 Go watch other videos on this update.
Team CZcams music.
Team Apple just because it’s convenient
2:25 this is the first time ive heard someone call non numeric versions "normal"
Nothing is ever ‘complete’. The whole point of updates are to address that. Are you trying to tell me any car you EVER owned was ‘complete’ past day one of its production? There are ALWAYS improvements, additions and updates that would benefit pretty much any product. It’s about time our cars became capable of such things without a mechanic or service tech having to physically have the car to make these changes.
@ford try to learn from @tesla..
PSA. Frunk safety is at the end of the video.
Watch Hoovies garage to check if your front trunk is leaking into crucial areas
I'm glad you can drive this thing without being embarrassed.
It feels cool, like a movie set sci-fi tank. I think it’s more embarrassing to care that much what others think of you while driving it. Just drive and enjoy what you’re in. I unashamedly drove my 9-5 Aero even though my friends think it looks junky an old because it’s a few decades old. But I love driving it so I don’t care.
Team "Streaming" because it's free. Also team Sirius since I paid $400 for a lifetime plan 18 years ago.
i use all music apps except apple music
Team Tidal because I can “download” my playlists. I believe the files are lossless (CD Quality), but some audiophiles claim the files are 256kbps VBR AAC
would say you can sleep inside on top of seat instead of back because that can be risky.
Great review
Team Spotify, but if they dont get their shit together with the High-Fidelity, I am switching to Apple Music.
I don’t use any music app
The Cybertruck is just a computer, it needs a Bios upgrade periodically...
The problem with this update is that many things should have come with the truck. Kyle has explained it perfectly.
Not to worry, it’s a Tesla. Owners pay to beta test and, as in any cult, seem happy to bend over for it. If only a fraction of that tolerance was given to Fisker.
@@rcpmaci swear fisker was done dirty. They weren’t perfect but honestly less scummy than tesla and with cooler concept cars that will now never make it to production
Not many people have the truck. For most buyers, it will come with all the things. And the ones who are taking delivery now have to sign off that they understand what is not included. They could delay delivery if they wanted, but they are choosing to take delivery even with the omissions.
@@jona4351 100.000 for a shitty pick up with no drivers display
@@MaticTheProto Still better than any Fisker ever made
Re: frunk safety: An additional strategy could be to have it slow and sound an alert as it approaches the finger amputation point. I suspect this will be done after the first lawsuit.
or just use a flimsy weak motor that does not have the power to close the frunk unless there are no obstacle. That would be even safer.
Doubt it since no other doors or frunks do so
@@newnewmee44 Safer still would be to eliminate the motors entirely.
A better strategy is to not put your fingers in a pinch point. But its a never my fault world, so its always some one else’s fault.
Why are you forcing cellular data update instead of using Wi-fi like the rest of us?
Team CZcams Music.
You tube music all day everyday
This man deserves a promotion 🎉. Great job!
As to Spotify, etc - I don't use those at all. I like to pick from my Apple library or specific Playlists, not whatever Spotify etc decides I should listen to. Yes I'm totally retro but then that's cool these days what with vinyl coming back.
Spotify gives you full playlist control unless you aren’t paying for the service in which case I hope you are getting ads to monetize that service and pay musicians.
Vinyl puritans are as laughable as people trying to act cool because they buy songs. If I bought the songs I listen to on spotify I‘d be poor.
Why all the complaining about shipping a product that’s not complete. Just don’t purchase it. No one is forcing you to buy it. The people that complain the loudest are the ones that bought the CT. Seems like a good IQ test to me.
Can we rip on Tesla and say how they are just ripping off camp mode of Rivian?!?! I just know the comment section is always full of that when its the other way around. "Rivian just copying everything Tesla is doing"
It is a Tesla Fanboy channel. So that isn't going to happen.
Except teslas had camping sentry dog and romance modes long before rivian did! 😀
We are a Spotify family.
I still use pandora for my music player. Free version of course.
Team Spotify all the way! App sucks in my MY intel though, hate that slow ass processor from 2009! LOL
Don't use YOUR cucumber in your tests ..... Some folks need to be told .....
Imagine a car getting updates and getting better like a phone... Only Tesla can do this love Tesla
or like apple iphones used to get updated and slowed down by the software in order to make the users angry and buy new iphones. Apple was fined a few million dollars for doing it. Maybe tesla will do it to in order to boost their car sales. Thy can just make old tesla drive slower and their range less just from a software update.
Almost every OE does OTA updates. No other manufacturer has ever shipped a car so incomplete.
Tap, countdown 3x to skip.
In five or ten years, the Cybertruck will take its rightful place alongside the Edsel: Uniquely engineered but ugly as hell.
I wish Tesla would get rid of the autopilot visualization on the left side. Why should I care what the car sees? There are a dozen more useful things that could be shown there.
Can't you just put the navigation over it?
Because the visualization gives you info that you can’t see otherwise like your blind spots
It's a feature specifically enabled so that the user builds trust in the system. If you know the computer can see things it's a lot easier to put your faith in it vs blindly letting it drive you around.

No, nothing else I own takes anywhere near an hour to update.
3:52 My 2020 gas mustang updates when ever and I believe you can drive when it's doing it too.
Updates? 2020 Mustang?
What has it updated?
@@davidmenasco5743 The infotanment, transmision and engine.
@@GreenBlueWalkthrough I can't find any evidence that supports your claim. Maybe the infotainment can update OTA, but not the transmission or engine.
You use what makes you happy, I’m with Apple Music because supports lossless audio, love the Karaoke option, lyrics really time and overall better experience but end of the day people should use what they like and not be bullied. Jordan your reviews are simply the best!
Meh. Apple Music works less good in the apple ecosystem than Spotify. Spotify also has less bugs, better usability and much better compatibility.
I tried both for a while and while apple music looks and sounds slightly fancier, I just couldn’t bear all the issues with it.
Every modern company ships products incomplete, the most popular products continuously improve….
That’s completely a fabricated assertion. Just look at what is happening to Fisker because of their poor and totally fixable software issues. Zero tolerance from the community for what would be just another typical product release from Tesla.
@@rcpmac name one most popular tech product that isn’t seeking to continually improve
That is the worst tent for the $$ I have ever seen. Huge L for that. Bet there will be some cool aftermarket ones though
DIdnt you lock yourself in and nearly die from heat or run out of air.. you could have been famous
I was thinking that car companies go through a bunch of testing to prove the crumple zone works. But then some designer adds a frunk and throws all the hard work to the trash. Does Tesla Rivian or Ford test their ceumple zone with a bag of golf clubs or maybe a tent. The possibilities are endless. We will look back at these days the way we look at the old steering wheels without a collapsing column.
Couldn't the factory round off the stainless sheet metal a tiny bit in the frunk area by using a grinding tool ? Those edges are still dangerous.
that would add cost to this cheaply build car.
@@newnewmee44 Sure. So will lawsuits for making a hazardous product that even a reasonably careful person might still harm themselves on. The rear end of the truck bed, the entry doors, and frunk area need some TLC.
@@saxonsoldier67 good luck on that lawsuit. You have nowhere enough money
@@rcpmac Flip that around. Tesla has deep pockets. Failure to provide a reasonably safe product will have those pieces of crap that call themselves lawyers salivating.
100s of millions of cars overs the decades will damage your fingers if you leave them in the way, so why is it now an issue?
That is not a very impressive change in turn radius...
Before update: 31.75
After update: 30.25 (about 4 truck widths from aerial view)
No rear steer: No value given but estimating 1.25x truck width = ~39.5
So rear steer reduces turning radius by about 24-25%?
Also, I'm team bring my own music on a USB key. Fark all that other noise.
So this is essentially a PR channel for Tesla now? Got it
In what way…? Must’ve missed a few previous videos about Tesla.
@@Jordan_Schiefer I saw the other video where Kyle was providing excuses as to why the Cyber truck is so bad
The update time is a problem if you or anyone you know has an emergency and you can't use your car.
This is exponential with the time consumed. If you have a 5-minute update, it's pretty unlikely that anything will happen in that time, and even if so, the wait until you can use the car is a maximum of 5 minutes.
However, 1 hour (60 min) very much can happen and is possibly a life-threatening long wait time if something bad happens:
Acute bleeding, anaphylactic shock, stroke, heart attack, high height fall accident, ice cream poisoning, or cravings, and the stores close in 35 minutes.
All totally unacceptable😅
I wonder if all these people criticizing this truck, are the same ones claiming it was vaporware a few years ago. Tesla reinvents automotive manufacturing, & the ignorant public wines about it range, towing, & price. I remember when EV's were single passenger solor panals, with bicycle tires.
😂😂😂
Wow, so they didn’t have pinch protection in the 1st place? Even if they fix it now, the edge is still sharp and edgy. I don’t understand why Tesla has to make a whole vehicle edgy pretty much everywhere.
Because you can’t bent steel
Because its steel, they wanted a material thats tough for truck.
Look more “over the air” updates to fix the unfinished product. Tesla fanboys rejoice. lol. Fixing unknown issues should be ok but pushing product out the door is so startup company behavior. 😊
With all that panning the camera across the dash you can't help but put on Full display just how shamefully poor quality that white dash pad section is. It looks like they wrapped cheap white vinyl over frozen cottage cheese. I wouldn't have been cool with that even if the CT actually HAD been available at $35k like he said it would. I want to still feel enthusiastic about this truck - especially since I'm still waiting on my pre-order, but with every CT video (and the very stupid nonsense s**t that comes out of Elon's mouth) I get closer and closer to cancelling the order. It's painfully obvious this truck was just an unfortunate distraction imposed on a lot of smart, otherwise-focused & committed staff.
Persian Cucumber Vs CyberBeast Frunk is not a fair fight. Anyone with small children sporting fingers should take note.
Thats why you have 10 fingers, lose a few, you can still wipe your butt.
I don't like that companies release products that are incomplete. If the truck is supposed to come with autopilot, then they should have finished it before pushing it to market.
Agreed. They should treat a release they same way they would if over the air updates were not an option.
Wait till you hear those things called smartphones.
@@jaymarkkabo2626 I don't think we should excuse it for smart phones either. Hell we get mad when video game publishers do it. No one seems to have learned anything from No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk
@kevinq3186 I think we should not put Tesla in the same box as other conventional automakers. Tesla indeed released a complete HW but with an incomplete SW, but they delivered later on. In addition to that, many of the things included in the latest software update are not included in the SW you paid for. And all of the functionalities that will be soon added are completely FREE. Just like every other Tesla. I think that your complaints are valid but it is more than compensated with the fact that the vehicle will just get better with the free non-stop future SF updates.
@@jaymarkkabo2626 there are other auto makers that release completed products that still feature over the air updates to improve upon functionality. To say that Tesla gets special treatment would be to say that apple or EA games get special treatment for some arbitrary reason. The controversy of what happen with MKBHD and the AI pin is a perfect example of this trend coming to a head. "Don't judge our product based on what it can do now but based on what we promise it will do later" I don't forgive that in any industry and allowing this trend to continue ruins it for other catagories of goods. The software updates are not free in the same way a buy one get one deal is not free. You paid for it, a 'promise' upfront when you bought the car... Unless you want full self driving in which case that's another few thousand dollars.
