Recent cuban immigrant who experienced life in Cuba under a dictatorship, experiences his first 4th of July.
Cuba is an island country that has experienced 60 years of dictatorship under a one-party rule. For us, being in this country and having the freedom to have our own opinions, criticize government, and vote on our representatives is what makes america so great! Those are things we should cherish, no matter where you fall on the political spectrum.
We also dedicate this content to the migrants who strive to be free from their critical situations in their home countries. America is the land of immigrants.
