  • Did you know that beneath our feet lies the remains of one of the world's most fascinating ancient civilizations? Welcome to our journey into the secrets of the Indus Valley Civilization!
The Indus Valley Civilization, flourishing around 2500 BCE, was a remarkable urban civilization predating ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Its cities, like Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa, showcased exceptional planning and engineering.
But what sets this civilization apart? The Indus people were masters of urban infrastructure, boasting advanced systems of drainage, sanitation, and water supply. Their sophisticated city planning included wide roads, brick houses with private bathrooms, and even public baths!
Sadly, the decline of the Indus Valley Civilization remains a mystery. However, its legacy lives on through its incredible achievements and influence on subsequent cultures.
As we explore the remnants of the Indus Valley Civilization, we are reminded of their remarkable achievements and the mysteries that still surround their decline. It's an invitation to unravel the secrets of a lost world and appreciate the legacy left behind by this ancient civilization.

There is no dispute among the archeologists about the gradual decline of the Indus Valley civilization. Firstly, as per the successive excavations made at the Indus Valley sites, the civilization flourished about 9,000 BCE or even much before - not just 2,500 BCE. Secondly, it existed over a vast territory stretching as far as present day Iran and Afghanistan on the West and South-West and Himalayas in the North and touching the Arabic Ocean. There existed a mighty ancient Indian river praised and celebrated in the ancient Indian texts as 'Saraswathi river' existed. It slowly changed course and disappeared. All about 980 Indus Valley civilizations locations were located on either side of that river. When the mighty river changed course/disappared, the Civilization slowly moved Eastward into the Gangetic plains. This was the truth. Indus Valley Civilization lives in each and every village in India!

      😢😢😢
Why india is a backward and uncivilized country, which is impossible to progress
The fundamental truth about india is that it is a very divided country.
India often boasts the slogan 'unity in diversity' but this is not the case.
Villages discriminate against other villages, religion discriminates against other religions, different communities discriminate against other communities.
If you are a true citizen of india, then you know very well how it is in your home and the conversations you have about your people.
India can only grow if it is truly united, when indians have discarded the concepts of Brahmins, dalits, Hindus, Muslims, biharis, UP.
When someone from other state looks down on people from other state then how can india grow. People accept English instead of Hindi. Hindi is enforced but actually most of the states in India are non-Hindi speaking states.
Indians are proud of their culture. But denies the truth that for centuries indians have discriminated and stolen, cheated, blackmailed each other based on caste, creed and color. That's Indian history.
Indians don't respect fellow indians. Try to observe how when you shop. Observe while you are in traffic. Observe as you stand in line for a simple movie ticket. Do you find this experience peaceful. No, no. You are in anxiety. You are on high alert as most of the indians will cut in line to take your place. Is there respect shown to you as a human being?
That's the indian mentality. Intrude on other people's space and property. Indian mentality is barbaric and savage, which is impossible to change.

If Dwarka is real then it is the oldest.
Marine scientists say archaeological remains discovered 36 metres (120 feet) underwater in the Gulf of Cambay off the western coast of India could be over 9,000 years old.
Debris recovered from the Dwarka site - including construction material, pottery, sections of walls, beads, sculpture and human bones and teeth has been carbon dated and found to be nearly 9,500 years old.
Author and film-maker Graham Hancock - who has written extensively on the uncovering of ancient civilisations - told BBC News Online that the evidence was compelling:
"There's a huge chronological problem in this discovery. It means that the whole model of the origins of civilisation with which archaeologists have been working will have to be remade from scratch," he said.
it is believed that the area was submerged as ice caps melted at the end of the last ice age 9-10,000 years ago.
Dwarka was supposed to have been built on six blocks, two on the right bank and four on the left. All the six sectors have protective walls built of dressed stones of sandstones. Whatever has been traced so far conforms to the description of Dwarka in the Mahabharat to a large extent. For example, the enclosures may correspond to the Antahpurs (harems) of the texts.
Similarly, the large number of stone anchors is indicative of overseas trade. The large ships were anchored to the sea, whereas the small ones were near to the warehouses on the Gomati, part of which has been submerged.
Marine archaeology has proved that the existence of the Dwarka and its submergence in the IInd millennium B.C referred to in the Mahabharat, Harivamsa, Matsya and Vayu Purans (Sanskrit texts) is a fact and not fiction.
The city of Dwarka has been investigated by historians since the beginning of the 20th century. Also the exact location of this port city has also been debated for a long time. Several references from the Mahabharata, the Bhagvata Purana and the Vishnu Purana have been used to suggest the city’s exact location

It was a 200 years long draught due to climate change that led to the gradual disappearance of the civilisation. The draughts made large scale agricultural unsustainable, the food supply to the city stopped , trade became impossible. So, the citizens gradually started moving out of the city towards nearby areas and settled in small towns and villages but they carried with them the same culture, traditions that still found among Indians today. Indians still worship Pasupati(Shiva), Yoni(Kamakhya temple), nature and animal worshipping( cow, bull), yoga etc…

The urban culture of Indus Valley was largely destroyed. No cities were created in India for a thousand years after that. The cities that came after were extremely primitive compared to Indus cities. Even the writing system was lost and the Indus people went back to illiteracy for almost a thousand years. Even the memory of such a glorious past was wiped from India's cultural memory until the British dug it up.

Agriculture was impossible. So the citizens had to move away from their traditional ways of living. With the absence of agriculture and long draught people probably adopted nomadic life. I don't know where did you get the data about illiteracy of people but they might have become illiterate after adopting nomadic life because nomads don't essentially need to be educated as their city life was destroyed. Ofcourse a great year long draught would wipe out any memory of their past. Even you don't remember the name of your great grand father or mother. The Indus river didn't dry up, nor did multitudes of other rivers in broader India. But the Indus people lost their urbanism, their literacy, and even the memory of such a glorious past (until the British dug up the ruins). The slate was somehow wiped clean and the Indus people had to start from scratch.
Genetic research tells us that it coincided with the arrival of nomadic pastoral people from the Corded Ware culture of Europe. Who incidentally contribute significant ancestry to modern upper castes of India. (Narasimhan et al. 2019)
Languages from the Corded Ware region, such as Lithuanian, are strikingly similar to Sanskrit as well, grouped into the "Satem" language group by linguists.

When people say Egypt is old I just can't help but laugh as the West has no idea of this civilisation (maybe thank God for that) Indus valley cities were better than modern Indian cities. They did not built any pyramids but their irrigation & sanitation systems were on point. Also the first iron or bronze statue 'The dancing girl ' was also from here 🤔 if I'm not wrong. Multiple factors for it's decline - Indus river charging course, repeat invaders, merging with other ancient places & Time are the main.
I once visited an immaculately preserved village which is slowly getting buried in desert sand (also in India) It is so well planned & the houses were built to withstand the test of time. It's just mind boggling.

That's because Hinduism has no truth or direction, there is no end goal. It basically just accepts everyone elses beliefs and philosophies and just incorporates it into one big pile of incoherent nonsense. Hinduism has no unified belief system, it just incorporates other beliefs and doctrines into itself. However, none of the beliefs or philosophies Hinduism has and incorporates is the 'right one' or the 'true one' thats why Hinduism has no truth or direction, and no end goal. What does one gain by being a Hindu? What morals or rules am I supposed to follow, when there is no 'right' morals or rules?

@@just_a_curious_thinker You mean the Austroasiatics, who have their own languages which are not Dravidian. So it is still a question who brought the proto-Dravidian language to the south of India. The only real candidate is Indus Valley.
Proto-dravidian had to disperse from a single culture about 4000 years ago according to linguistics. The hunter gatherer tribes living in the south of India at the time had no reason or ability for such a dispersal, but a massive migration of proto-Dravidian people from Indus Valley perfectly explains it.

Pre-datimg Ancient Kemet (Egypt)/TA Meri??? That's a reach. The Indus Kush Kemetic Valley Civilization are actually more connected than this account shows. "Smai Tawi" (Yoga) was present in both civilizations as Afrikan People and Ancient Aboriginal Indigenous Civilizations all engaged in some form of yogic meditation. We are more interconnected than we choose to know. The narratives must change, the truths, be told so humanity will heal and grow. The Age of Hapi (Aquarius) wills it so. International Yoga Day is on June 21st Summer Solstice. Plug in wherever youre act. And come experience the greatest unity that exist within and it begins with ",The Divine Power of Breath." The quickest way for us to boost our immunity by breathing properly instead of chest breathing in reverse. The "Untouchables" (Dravidians) history has been made a mystery due to there melanated ancestry. The same pattern exists all throughout the world. It's one of those technically true but needs some explanation facts.
So, the Indus Valley Civilisation is estimated to have started in 3300BC, however, Ancient Egypt was unified approx 200 years later in 3100BC by Menes.
Of course, the Nile River had civilisation on it prior to Menes, but Egypt was a unified country after the Indus Valley Civilisation started.

    Good day guys.
All geologic Holocene Epoch tribes, civilizations and most life were ended when the Great Flood swept and ruined the planet. That includes the Indus Valley civilization and the rest, just like the Egyptian Old Kingdom, the misnamed Minoans, Sumer, etc.
Because of the same global Deluge the world was deserted with 99.99% of all Life, excepting the occupants of the Great Ark and a few ethnic tribes from some lofty massif world spared by the highest Floodwaters.
The deserted planet experienced a GREAT FILTER, and a LOST TIME, a DISCONTINUITY of KNOWLEDGE and CUT OFF of ALL MEMORIES prevailed.
Because of all the above events, people throughout the ages becomes HARD HEADED UNBELIEVERS and DEAF, BLIND and DUMB IGNORANTS up to this time.
History once it happened cannot be changed.
Maybe that's all for the time being.
    Thanks for reading.

There is the mention of the great flood in Hinduism
It happened way before Indus Valley civilization and it didn't happen globally
It happened in the time of the first generation of humans in the era of king manu,
And Vishnu's matsya avatar warned them so all of humanity was saved and they learned about dharma from vishnu in the ship
Hundreds of thousands of years later abrahamic religions were formed and they made a curropted version of this history to manipulate people to join them

Many reasons together led to the decline of the Indus Valley civilization, most important reason was the lack of technological innovations (agriculture implements etc remained the same through years) and things like floods, and malaria all together forced people to move to the southern regions. So decline didn't happen overnight, it happened gradually.
