ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

Miley’s dog Floyd passed away during her tour. She cried almost every performance. It was one of the best nights of my life but you could see she was broken. :( Respect her for continueing the show but damn that was so sad, i just wanted to hug her.
I'm glad you shared that story about her, it makes me like her more.
R.P. Rosen she really is such a wholesome human being. cares SO much about animals and people. she started her own non profit orginization too! It’s called Happy Hippies that focuses on LGBTQ+ youth thats homeless. She’s done heaps for so many causes!

Selena made me cry again. She spoke about Christina Grimmie who got shot back in 2016. Selena and Christina were friends and they were on tour together. So heartbreaking. I miss Christina.

Beyoncé was crying because the song she was previously singing she wrote about her miscarriage. She was already emotional from performing that mixed with the support of the crowed overwhelmed her. She’s so precious 😍

So hard watching Selena literally losing her best friend during the show. The fact that she did the show itself is cool. Also I think JBs song was dedicated to Christina as well. Adam Levine also did a concert (he was her coach) and paid for her funeral.

Please react to Corey Taylor singing the song Snuff, the song is very emotional. I dont think he displays his entire range in that song but he has an extremely impressive vocal range.
This was one of the songs that I listened to endlessly when I was going through my divorce. It always brought out the emotion.
Other songs by Stone Sour like Hesitate, Miracles and Imperfect were songs that were hard to get through.
@@shamalamadingdong5718 yeah i 100% agree, this song especially but also the others youve mentioned and more have helped me in more ways than one to get through the toughest of times, Corey is an incredible lyricist, vocalist and performer.
@@duncanhainsworth5063 I feel very fortunate that some of these artists put out music that I needed at the precise moment they came out. Corey Taylor is just an all around talented guy. I can watch his acoustic shows all day. The one that was recorded in London was amazing!
Alter Bridge is another band that got me through my darkest of days. Especially ABIII.
@@shamalamadingdong5718 Slipknot especially and Corey Taylor in general is the only artist that ive never grown tired of, his upbringing and his life overall has been filled with sorrow and i love how that is implemented in his music its so raw and sincere.Yeah the show in Camden, that is truly brilliant the song taciturn by stone sour is also one of my favourites. I have heard of alter bridge but havnt really listened to them, ill check them out.
@@duncanhainsworth5063 they are very different from Slipknot. I tend to use different music for the mood I am in. The songs that are longer and more epic that everyone requests are Blackbird, Cry of Achilles and Fortress.

Have you seen the (almost forgotten) Queen performance at Live Aid that they did late in the evening. It's just Freddie and Brian doing "is this the world we created" and "Love of my life". it is beautiful and some of Freddies best vocals. There is a bit during Is this the world we created where you can see Freddie struggling with the emotion and message of the song. He has to close his eyes and catches his voice, when he sings the lyric "you know that everyday a helpless child is born, who needs a some love and care inside a happy home" Ah man that makes me well up every time I see and hear it.
One beautiful song you just sang a bit of !!! I like you getting Emotional with the longer Nightwish songs. 😎

Its interesting what you said about Rhianna. Something in her changed. Ive seen a couple of singers who have started to cry but then something in them almost gets angry and they kind of go over the top to stop themselves crying. Its really endeering as it shows that they are just human like us. Thanks for the great video again x

As singer/performer it is more about the feelings you connect to the lyrics and your way of getting to the song, me thinks.

I've never cried while I sang live, in front of an audience. But when by myself, certain lyrics move me to tears. Singing is extremely emotional, when done properly, ones soul opens and pours itself into the music. It is indeed a beautiful moment.

You said you didn't hear Nicole Scherzinger sing, well, good news! She performed at the Royal Variety Performance, covering Phantom Of The Opera with >4!< phantoms. That performance is just fantastic. Hell, I've rewatched it 30x just for John Owen Jones, and the other phantoms are equally talented. And I think she nailed it, even though she was sick.
You want a performance where she really is the star, There is the funny 'I want to know what love is' cover she's done in like 9 music styles, the more classical Don't Cry For Me Argentina and the powerhouse performance of 'And I'm Telling You' together with Sam Bailey.
Take your pick, it's hard to go wrong with Nicole to be honest. Just stay away from her pop stuff, that is so overproduced a broom could have performed those songs.
