You didn't close the programs on the ~Right phone~ J7 (2016). Left button and "Close All". So in actuality, "ALL" the programs were running the entire time on the J7 (2016) through your entire comparison. Also, your left hand was always on the button quicker than your right hand.

Depending on how much I get paid from next month, I might buy either of these phones. Should any of these play games like Asphalt 8, Angry Birds and Sonic Dash 2? In either case, I would use either of them mostly for surfing on the web, using Facebook and watching videos or movies.

Pro Gaming HD Well I heard that the Prime has poor quality and may not run most games especially at high settings only because of a TFT display with a pixel density that is high. But I would still take it into consideration, is just only how my budget would be when I get my salary during this month.
J7 2016 could run modern combat smooth as well as asphalt 8 even the rr3 with mirror reflection is good also gta san andreas could run smooth too so i would recommend j7 2016 cuz i have it and based on experience

If you already have the 2015, don't upgrade not worth it, it's pretty much the same with a few small improvements both are pretty much the same and speed it's the same too.

I hate it when they make products with the same name. Its very confusing and phone resellers can take advantage of it. They shouldnt be doing a edition of the same phone once a year at all. At list they could do a "samsung j series 1st gen - samsung j series 2nd gen" distinction.

Had a small glitch with the 2015, failing to recognize memory card from time to time. After Marshmallow was available, I've noticed it was fixed and feel more concistency from the phone.

The J7 6 also has a metallic frame, feels less cheap to the touch vs the old J7, but again it is a low budget phone and to be honest can't compare with Samsung's flagship, let's see what the S8 will bring to the table later this year.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 and apps get refreshed a LOT (Terraria, Fallout Shelter and Talking Tom (sometimes))... the phone just simply chooses to do that when its convenient to it... But not ALL the time. Anyone can tell me which version of J7 I have is there a way to tell? I just bought it off T-Mobile, I can only wish it is a 2016 model. My S6 was giving me problems for a while and I just chose to upgrade, it had a broken screen which I fixed but it seemed the phone had other issues as well :/

i just bought this phone..but there is one thing thats bugging me...its that many apps dont show up in the menu..i have to click on search and type in the apps menu to see them...
and also the camera on my j7-6 is taking very average photos...so did i got a damaged piece or something or is it normal???

It's not really a stupid question. Just buy it,and be patient, Samsung will do it. My device (j7 2015,bought six month ago) was updated one month ago (in Serbia).
