- (5-25-22) Enjoy a ride on one of the most unique lines on the CTA system: The Yellow Line. The Yellow Line or Skokie Swift is a 4.7 mile route that goes from Howard to Dempster-Skokie with only one other stop in between. This video is a full ride ride from Dempster-Skokie to Howard.

The CTA is one of those rare subway systems where you see railroad crossings on the Subway. The whole system is impressive. Especially in the L portion. Great ride!

At this point it's not really worth it since Metra serves that area and most people would just ride that instead.

This was fun. I've never been past Howard on the L.
I've always wanted to ride the yellow line so we did it for the fun of it. After this we rode the Purple line from Howard to Linden (I didn't make a video on that).
@@stlelevators Thats dope I used to ride 79th Red Line to Howard and Howard Purple Line to Linden to get to my dad's house about 4 or 5 times a month. Only bad part is that everytime I reached Howard the sun was checking out lol. Never in my life rode the Purple during the daytime.
How are you allowed in the operator's cab
You can't go entirely in it, but sometimes they leave the back open so you can go in half of it.
