Love the tank and the videos! I use to spray the glass and wipe it like you. But, I started just spraying the wipe away from the tank to avoid any chance of the chemical or liquid getting in the tank
I've watched all your videos mate. You have amazing video skills. I do nanos for 15 years. Your problem is the volume. If you could sump and add increase your volume and hide your equipment there you could do the trick. Filtration speaking normal load is enough don't overstock. Carbon and gfo?refugium? A small ATS is superb for your tank. Any method is helpful when dealing with small liters and increase your chances for a successful system. + The most important....you feed a lot mate...
Astrea Snails work really well. My local pet store tried to talk me out of getting them because they can't upright themselves, but I've only had to help one snail once. Love seeing the progression of this tank.
i’ve been watching all of your videos cuz i have the same tank as you i have a suggestion for a cleanup crew and you said you wanted a low maintenance tank so i would suggest you put cheato in the second back compartment and get a cheato max and cut the vynal on the back of the tank then i would get astrea snails and the nassarius snails as a clean up crew but if you have lots of money i would get trouchs snails any love your tank and i’m glad i get too see yours improve in every update
Is that light the INNOVATIVE MARINE SKKYE LED LIGHT (18 WATT) ?? If it is, this light is sufficient for a Nuvo 14gallon? Or only the Nuvo 10 you have? Also what type of powerhead is that? Thanks!
Hı i admire your work and videos. İ have a question. What are the sump parts of your tank? How do you full fill your sump? Are all parts full full with filter floş anda carbon zeolite kind of stuff?
@@DannysAquariums i also want to tell back compartment sorry.. :) İf Only periodic maintanance and water change can does that than i can also make it. Thats great i have a 55lt tank and i want to make it as reef tank. Which includes some corals , starpolips leathers etc and 1 or 2 clown fish . İ was planing to make an external sump system that includes PS, filter floss etc. But now i think i can manage this kind of maintanance. :) Thanks for your videos :))

SNAILS!!!!! I hardly have to worry about algae with my snails! Astrea snails are really good and turbos all this guys.

I agree. Some Mexican turbos and a handful of blue-leg hermits should do the trick. Best of luck. Love the placement of corals/inverts.

Thanks for the tips! I really want to try the macroalgae. I think I'm going to add a few more trouchs snails, in my other tanks as well.
I would consider adding a small diy algae reactor. Not sure if you’ve thought about this ?

my friend told me that hermit crab is one of the best clean up crew
Hermit crabs are great, however, I also have a pistol shrimp in here and I'm not sure if that'll go well.
Depends on the species of hermit crabs plus I had less algae when using a snail dominated cleanup crew rather than a crab dominated clean up crew.
I have sea cucumber to clean up my sand. It is now always white.

IN sells the desktop skimmer for this tank, you wouldn’t be adding to many equipment
Recommend to not use glass cleaner in case the chemical gets in through micro scratches abrasions and seams etc.
It’s a bio-glass cleaner and I haven’t had problems with it yet.

Yes, all the flow comes from the return pump. I’m not sure how many gallons per hour. I took out the wave maker because it was too much flow.

No, I used to dose AF Vitality, AF Energy, AF Amino Mix, a few times a week. Now I’m only dosing Red Sea’s reef energy.
