What % weekly wc did you have to do to keep this system this good đ
I was wondering..
How much the electric bill? In mexico I pay A LOT for just a 120 litre marine tank,
Great job!
I did not see any info about how you install or add filtration system on this tank. đ€
What is that fish that looks like it is made out of coral?
Please make a video about how to maintenance this shallow reef tanks weekly and monthly.. because i wanna build one.. Thanks, Danny!
Will do!!
@@DannysAquariums Dont wanna be stingy but can you do a price list?
@@joelcriollo5919 for sure! Stay tuned. :)
I would love to know as well. Thanks for sharing đŻ
Yes can u
Itâs incredible, the music, the quality of the video, how you explain everything, itâs like a film, very calm and relaxing, the only problem is that video ends.
My thoughts exactly.
Awesome build :) Being a reefer is more about the journey and how we negotiate the hurdles we encounter along the way. Everyone wishes for smooth sailing all of the time, but then it wouldn't be as interesting or engaging, especially when we attempt to create these little worlds of living organisms that are always changing and growing.
this is just what i need; i have an empty diy 50 gal 12 inch high aquarium that has been sitting empty for 2 years. thank you for giving me this inspiration
Canât express how much did I like this video. Tons of thanks to you and your work đ
I got out of the hobby almost 20 years ago, and I would often dream about my tank somehow continuing to run without a filter. I canât believe this is even possible, but it makes sense. Father Fish preaches this method for freshwater aquariums.
Amazing tank as always, love how you started with corals first with little bioload then added the fish later, worked out really well! đ
Yeah that honestly surprised me how well it turned out! Although he could have used coral dip so he didn't get that flat worm infestation, because they are toxic contrary to what some people say
The elegance coral is a show stopper! Like it is an angel from heaven
I know I have said it before but I absolutely love this Aquarium. Fine job.
This reminds me of Aqua Splendors shallow reef, I love his aquarium and how he takes the time to keep everyone updated on it's progress.
His tank is so cool!
Hello. One of the best videos I've ever seen in aquaristics. Not only is the length just right, no, the individual steps are also well illustrated. Without specifying this, simply addressed the problems. This is how an instructional video should be.
Thanks for the work and effort.
We operate an AquaMedic Blenny only with flow pumps and heaters. This also works very well as long as the fish stock remains small.
However, I have one question: How often is the water changed in your aquarium?
Look forward to more videos.
Thanks
im doing into salt water aquariums and stuff because my family and I are going to do a Nano tank competition to see who can make to best Nano aquarium and these videos are very insightful and entertaining
This was so calming to watch whilst also learning.
Iâm just starting to look into growing a reef tank so this was super helpful. đ
such a beautiful corals and tank setup.
I'm amazed by this tank, with no filtration and only 2 aeration on each side. Love the tank mate! Simplicity!
Can someone explain to me how that works? How frequent are the water changes to maintain parameters?
@@tedo6924
Bro, it's salt waters coral reef tank. No need to change like fresh water tank.
@@faizalamsahib8040 you still need to do water changes on a saltwater tank you chop
@@faizalamsahib8040 youâre so far off đ since this guy isnât running a sump or filter heâs most likely doing water changes every weekend
@@faizalamsahib8040 lol yeah okay. Say that to all the hard corals in that tank XD You may be able to get away with that for some time with softies, but you wont get away with no water changes. You have to reintroduce components of the water that the hard corals are uptaking such as calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, and then a host of other trace elements depending on the hard corals. XD
This looks expensive and beautiful at the same time. Awesome job đ
Fabulous! Your aesthetic in regard to this hobby/persuit is very sophisticated.
You're a genius man...Simply Amazing!!!
Thanks for sharing the reality of keeping a reef tank.. Cheers!!!
Love the musicâŠand obviously the tank đđ»đđ»
I've been going sumpless and preaching that for years. Thank you for proving it. Beautiful tank.
So just protein skimmer and wavemaker?
@@ewok4951 i do small protein skimmer, small wavemaker and hob refugium and can grow SPS no problem. no giant sump needed. i put a small ball of chaeto and it keeps everything in check.
â@@alexvids9232
What is chaeto?
there is only one word... MAJESTIC!
Your tank is really beautifull, congrats. It amazes me to see that there are no sump, skimmer, auto water reposition....it also encoirages me to start a new tank again after a few years away from this wonderfull hobby.
Also no heater? Really?
đLove it so peaceful with soft relaxing đ¶music
Wow! Love your tank! đđ
Amazing! IncrĂvel a evolução.
I absolutely love this tank and I appreciate your beautiful video with the commentary.
Much appreciated!
Such a beautiful simple tank!
Thank you! đ Canât wait to see how the corals will grow, the tank isnât even a year old yet. đ€©
Amazingly well put together video! Thank you for sharing! Can't wait for my tank to look this beautiful
Glad you enjoyed it!
De verdad estoy asombrado y con muchas ganas de algĂșn dĂa tener un acuario como ese o que se asemeje un poco,es impresionante la vida acuĂĄtica en un pequeño lugar como una peceraâ€
Wow what a beautiful tank.đ
Bro i salute u for ur patience
I'm amazed how clean this tank is without any filtration. Takes a lot of time to keep it clean like thisđ
I was thinking the exact same thing. I have a 40 cube packed with filtration, it must be a lot of work to keep this one clean
The opposite. I clean the glass once a week, takes about 5 minutes. Feed the fish once a day. And do a small water change every three weeks which takes 30 mins or so, thatâs all! :)
Yeah well I see you don't have that much fish in your tank and that's why it save a lot of time cleaning. But it looks very good mate!!
What a lovely tank đđ
I once had a very bad green hair algae break out. It was so bad that it looked like the rocks were head banging. I rented a sea hare from my lfs and with in a week it was completely gone. I bought urchins to keep it under control, but for some reason they would come across my frags, and just take them right off the rock. The frags were glued, and I was generous with that glue, but they kept knocking my corals off the rock. The sea hare was the size of a childs fist and it never messed with any of my coral frags. Any way. this is a beautiful tank. Well done.
Great to see you put the rock first then the sand, not many people do it
Great presentation - love the hermits in the christmas tree rock - need to get some of those ;)
What are the pros and cons of not using protein skimmer? Do you dose daily? What brands u use for dosing.
What a wonderful video! Very inspiring! đâš
this video is like...therapeutic i stg. i love the filterless concept.
Wow đ€© thatâs beautiful!
OMG this one is very very very lovely salt water tank mr.

WoW what an amazing tank! only to find you didn't spend hundreds on filtration too. Amazing
Thanks, Chris! :D
Looking amazing!
Thanks! đđ»
We can learn how magnificent our ocean out there, how the ecosystem is so great.
Very inspirational
Beautiful setup!
Your tank is beatyful and your viedeos alway awsome to watch. keep it up :)
btw what was the name of the lights that broke and why ? do you had them new or used ?
Great video, it was really cool seeing a compilation of everything that this tank has been through, it really is an amazing aquarium. One question though, if I remember correctly you use reef energy on your tank, but is there any other dosing that you do?
Thank you so much! Yes, I recently installed a dosing pump to dose some of the basic supplements ca, mg, kh, and minerals. I donât test the water but since itâs so heavily stocked with corals it isnât sustainable long term to go without dosing. Iâm adding 30ml of each daily, thatâs what the brand recommends on average.
can you tell us exactly and in what proportions you add your supplements? thank you
Gorgeous
This is nuts!!!
This was so tranquil it almost put me to sleep i mean that as compliment beautiful tabk
Ive been getting bored with my 5 goldfish and 3 turtles and have been wanting a new pet and tank/habitat and after seeing this video i kinda want a reef habitat now its soo awesome and relaxing to watch way better then watching a plain freshwater tank with goldfish
This tank is beautiful but don't diss a good freshwater aquascape. They can look equally stunning. If you're unhappy with your pets that probably means you shouldn't go out and buy more. Get passionate about the ones you have first
How do you do this without any filtration, what is ur maintenance schedule like, interested in how you are doing this without anything cleaning the water, I see u only have 3 or 4 fish uh but this tank is awesome, I'm about to maybe do a micro reef tank with no fish just crabs and snails maybe a shrimp and maybe a watchman goby paired with a shrimp but yeah.
HOW DOES IT EVEN WORK AND BE SO CLEAN WITHOUT ANY THE FILTRATION, WHAT ALL DO YOU DO WITH THIS TANK ???
Love this background on one of my favorite tanks! I especially love that featherduster rock!
Me too! ;)
I'm new here and I love all your videos man. Keep it up
Thank you, Ahamed! Iâm glad you like them! đ
perfect tank
I'm so proud of myself right now after watching this video,I don't know why
So so nice and not a million fish to distract you!
Good job man as always đ.
Thank you, Lorenzo!
Your tank is gorgeous. I would love to have one on a smaller scale.
Thank you! Try it, it's fun!
You can make any tank size work really, you just have to know what you can stock in it. I have a 4 gallon cube, and I have mostly soft corals in it, but I also have some macro algae, and a small bubble tip anemone. You can really create fascinating little environments if you put in a little research and are willing to maintain it.
Here's my stock list for my 4 gallon:
(Keep in mind, I clean virtually daily, do bio filter rinses every few days, do a weekly water change of about 20% of the water, and clean the pump and pump bay at least every 2 weeks)
1 tiger pistol shrimp
1 yellow rose goby
1 blue neon cleaner goby
1 masked goby
1 pom pom anemone crab
5 sexy shrimp
1 feather duster worm
1 emerald crab
5 or 6 hermit crabs
3 or 4 snails
3 tree leather corals
1 red rhodactis mushroom
1 green rhodactis mushroom
4 golden Gonzo rhodactis mushrooms
3 small colonies of zoa mushrooms
1 small blastomussa coral
1 toadstool leather coral
2 yuma mushroom corals
5 inch piece of dragon's breath macro algae
The entire tank has become the den of the pistol shrimp, and he has entrances all over the place. He is constantly renovating his den, and it's fun to watch!
This sounds like a lot to maintain, especially with feeding daily, but I only really put about 3 hours into maintenance each week, spread over the entire week.
AWSOME video, thanks
It's just absolutely beautiful! I would love a reef tank just like this but Im so afraid!
Thank you! What are you afraid of?
Good relaxing music in the film.
Loveâ€ïžâ€ïžUr vid!!!!!
Love it! The little fish are darling!!!!
They are! :)
Beautiful Tank! One quick question though, did you use live or dry rock ? Or does it really even matter ?
The rocks he used were surely dry. If you use dry rock, you avoid to bring any unwanted hitchhikers. If you use life rock, your maturing process will be muuuuch faster.
how do you control phosphate? how often do you water change?
brilliant tank; roughly how much did this cost to set up?
I love it đ
Hello, hope you and the family are good. Hey so i can just use rocks sand heater and wavemaker to have a few fish in a 40 gallon ?
Wow no filtration is wild nice setup
Very cool!â€
So beautiful
So pleasant ! How are you filming these amazing shots ?
Tooo beautiful
youre reef is beautiful and i give you a big like
Thank you, Greetje!
Amazing, looks like you only have a heater and some flow fans. That's amazing a clean. It looks like sometimes your flow fans are running and sometimes not. is this part of your regimen and if so what times are on/off?
I sometimes have them off for filming purposes. :D
Brilliant!
Thank you!
This is how you get little peace of sea in the house.đđ
Exactly!! :D
