  • Today I was invited to be part of Theo Kellison’s Markers Challenge Season 3. We will start off looking for some material to use for my project. Then move to the Hi-Tech saw to do some cutting, then move to the Hi-Tech Flatlap for some polishing before we really get started. I don’t want to give away to what I’m making until after you all see it. After about a month I’ll update the description to better describe the process.

I can’t say dude, I just absolutely love this! I loved how I wasn’t sure what you were going to do and then I saw the suede card and I was like “NO… WAY… he’s doin his thing! He’s framing it!!!!!”
And you crushed this brother. Just so rad to see you and Kate couple your other talents and passions with rocks. Just nailed it kurt. Hang that one high for all the visitors to see. 👊👊👊

got home after midnight so , just watching now, that looks like it must be landscape jasper , I have something with same patterns down here but its softer , tuff, compacted ash, so it doesn't shine more of a chalk texture and then farther south is the wonder stone which is sand stone, yours looks pretty shiny , and the blue tones of the sky , really contrasting. Nice ! just got to the end ! this makes it so classy, how to make a creation look like it belongs in a art collection ! nice work all the way around !
