Totally agree with what you said at the back end, there, Ben.
My worry is that there is no guarantee that the season will get off to the flyer that many Bluenoses will be expecting.
IMHO we have to stay patient and never underestimate the opposition.
They know what this league is all about and we have to respect that.

Great to hear Ben talking about Blues - there’s nothing he doesn’t know about the Championship. Should be a pundit on TV, way more knowledgeable than most.

Great episode! I've really enjoyed watching Benjamin cover the Championship / Blues over the last season or so. Hopefully, we can get back on his radar sooner rather than later.
I haven't watched the episode yet - but as a regular listener of both the Keep Right On podcast and Benjamin Bloom's check in podcast and his youtube channel, I think it's a great collab!
Really enjoyed that. some great insight from Ben. On Ben's closing comments, Blues have been crap for so many years that despite it being a division lower, myself and I think many other blues fans are just looking forward to see a side winning games of football regularly. If we get 90 points and don't go up, I hope we'd stick with the manager and give it another go next season because I'm sure if we did that the 2nd season would bear fruit. I'm looking forward to it. Good to see you have Benjamin on the podcast. Very knowledgeable and likable guy. Think his point about the need to be able to compete with the physical demands of League One is well made, especially when the pitches are poor. Teams are going to have a right go at us away from home and we need to be up to dealing with that side of the game when required. I am confident Chris Davies will do his homework and have us ready for that. Much is being made of the money we have to spend and that is no doubt true but the real test will be spending it well. Something that we have not always done as well as we might. KRO.

it was great to get BB on,a very knowledgable bloke,listen to alot of his podcasts as he has covered Blues alot.-great insight into what we,ve got ahead of us,-we may have to adapt to all kinds of different ways of playing depending on opposition etc,-we might be favourites,-but we are a big scalp now,so its going to be tough,-lets hope we are up to it,-great podcast,KRO.

It was interesting that Ben pointed out that Mckenna in his first half-season focused on making Ipswich tight from the back and built on that the following season - isn’t that EXACTLY what John Eustace was doing? Then just as he began to focus on going forward - he was gone. We have to be patient this time.
There is no Blueprint for success everyone in the team need to find a identity and all work hard and off the same page. Ipswich have done that well and good on them but we will find our own way with our own identity and style KRO
You should get Joe Royle on to talk about Manchester City journey from league 1 to champions of Europe very similar to Birmingham City story. Can't wait to see what next season brings. Keep the positivity!
