      JAAAAAAAAAVVV! Jeff has always been such a major influence on me. Cant stress it enough. I absolutely love Phil’s playing too. The groove on Easy Lover is SIIICK!

    Nice point, that is something I have been doing for years. I cover the and beats on lots of patterns using the high hat with my foot. I think my personal favorite is doing it over a 12/8 groove. It’s a little odd, but such a cool and different flavor. Thank Doc. You are the best!

    Hey bobby! you produced MANY of my favorite tracks from the Myspace days. This might be a long shot but.... some of them I just can't seem to find in good quality like The Prayingmantis and You Want with singer Porcelain Black... Do you still have their OG masters -- and if so -- could you eventually share those on your channel?

    • @BobbyHuff

    Here's a catchy melody for this guitar.
    E3, E4, D4, B3, A3, G3 with a slight thickening between A and G. Repeat!
    Here you go.
    This is for Jeff!

      @@BobbyHuff Then why don't you say that Bonham was doing this eons before Jeff. I have no axe to grind with either of those guys, but did you really listen to Zep?

    • @BobbyHuff
      @BobbyHuff  Před 4 měsíci

      @@stephenpitul4025 I totally listen to Zepplin and I realize Jeff borrowed some things from Bonham and he freely admits that….but Jeff is where I learned it so that’s who I quote. I don’t feel that it’s necessary to go through the lineage of drummers to trace the source of grooves. Stevie Wonder played this groove on Superstition as well but I didn’t include him in the video because the point here is to figure out different types of beat placement. Due to my age in my formative years Jeff was the guy doing this on the radio ALL the time so that’s how I learned it. For example I heard and learned the Rosanna groove way before Home at Last, Fool in the Rain, or Babylon Sisters. If you heard Bonham do it first then he would be the source that turned you onto it and perhaps that’s why you feel like you need to defend him. All good!
