That cross grinding he does with it is pretty impressive and absolutely horrible for a blade lol. That said, he probably doesn’t care about the blade longevity as he’s probably got several on-hand.

@Kaden Slife There's definitely a baseline cost. However, you don't need to invest a huge amount of money to get started. You can get pretty far with just measuring/marking tools, work holding tools, and an angle grinder (plus, very importantly, PPE). As far as project materials, you could search for scraps to work with if possible; to avoid cost.

That's insane. Never seen your channel before but just a few days ago I was thinking about if a knife like this was possible. In my head the top part would be similar but the buttom part was about halfway up the handle and split so the blade could pass through. I couldn't figure out how that work work without being flimsy or having too many moving parts. I didn't know this mechanism has a name or anything but this morning I wake up to this video. CZcams algorithm is freaky.

Это в кино всё так быстро и гладко, я два лезвия испортил безнадёжно, пока подгонял механику, хотя и 3d модель разработал, всё подогнал напечатав на 3D принтере и всё равно промахнулся при изготовлении маленько.
