Missed you at the SF’s Pen show! I had a table with my Fearless Felt Watercolor Sketchbooks! Great people running it and met a whole new tribe!
The pens are absolutely beautiful but for me, I wish the company would have taken the money they spent on that elaborate boxing and put it into the pen. Or, reduce the cost of the pen by putting it in a simpler box. I believe pens are for writing, not lying in a fancy box that will probably end up in most peoples closets. Be that as it may, excellent video. Thanks for sharing.
With the expensive this pain, I doubt the expense of the box comes close to affecting the price much.
Sorry, that Montegrappa logo looks like 'HP' as opposed to a stylized 'M'. I love Italian pens and Montegrappa in particular, but that logo is a fail.

I would like to see a Titanium Kaweco Supra with an Emporer nib :D
Or a Conid Kingsize Bulkfiller with an Emporer nib.

What size is the nib? Is it comparable to the Professional Gear or the King of Pen or something in between?

I pretty certain it is a #6 sizing. Not super familiar with the two Sailors, but it's not oversized like the King of Pen is. Similar in size to a Custom 74 from Pilot. - Colin

I know LAMY has done collabs with Pokemon. I think there may be some in Japan that are one-offs. - Colin
Unfortunately they’re crazy expensive and it’s still just a spiffed up Safari. Believe me, I’ve looked 😂

I love Montegrappa and own several FPs and ballpoints. This model just seems a bit blah. It’s missing the wow factor I normally see in this brand.......
It's certainly not flashy (or even gaudy for some MG) that you might be used to but the celluloid craftsmanship and the Japanese nib may be a wow factor for some. The best looking ones have unfortunately sold out, so that's something too! - Colin
