So many good moments from Ragnar here. I love how he spits out his name like a whip 'King Ragnah!' and how he overlooks Rollo for Bjorn while staring the former right in the eye. He knew who was who and what was up the moment Rollo would have another chance to be the Treacherous One and pull a fast one.
In this situation it contradicts. Ragnar emphasized he was the king (who should be the one who decides the orders) , because his followers disobeyed his orders.
He never said that he is King unless he really had to. Everyone's plan failed, so Ragnar was angry and said that I am the King so I will rule and tell what to do. He said he never wanted to become king. That means it was not his pride.
