While doing this video, i realize how much they didn't gave much to do to Ubbe on Season 6, so there won't be much S06 footage, let's hope that will change with 6B, on the meantime, i tried to focused my edit on the conflict between Ubbe and his brothers, his inner conflict of religion and his awesome fight skills. I hope you will like it.

Let's all agree: Ubbe continued Ragnar's story. Ubbe represents all the the things we liked about Ragnar. I would even argue that Ubbe completed Ragnar's character arc in the most epic and awesome way. What a great character and actor.
Jordan played his role so damn well, it was like watching another Ragnar, expressions all the way to his face.
The writers have done an awesome job with Ubbe. Slowly building him up.. Going through many trials and tribulations, making him level headed and open minded. Especially, when it comes to the Saxons vs. Pagans. He puts himself in both parties p.o.v and tries to find solutions that avoids or minimizes death/destruction for both. I hope Ubbe/Torvi end up as King/Queen of all of Norway, but with a character as loved as he is, I wouldn't be surprised if the writers did something in the end to get everyone in the feels.
Nah I think his ambitions wouldn't fit in to become king. He is truly a Viking and so he will continue to sail. I believe Ubbe will be a perfect example of the a ragnar who wasn't pushed into the role of Earl or king

Jordan cannot be praised enough for his portrayal of Ubbe. What an underrated character he was in this series. He deserved so much more screen time, especially when he went on his journey to the Golden Land.
Ubbe is very underestimated, he is most like Ragnar. He is a great warrior and fighter, but is also a great diplomat and only wants peace and prosperity for all. I am so glad he lives at the end. He will make a fantastic leader in the new world with Torvi at his side.
My favorite character Ubbe is such an amazing brother he protect his brothers spared hvitserks life even tho hvitserk betrayed him and jumped ship. He is Ragnar a viking in the war but he rather be a farmer. Ubbe my favorite!

Ubbe’s 1 on 1 with the Dane king is my favorite scene of the whole series.

Absolutely inspiring video. Ubbe was a great warrior, but also a great visionary. He didn't want to keep fighting and killing just for the sake of it, he wanted to give his people stability, land to farm, to travel the world, and to trade with other races. He saw his father's vision, and he have been a great king of Norway.

They did a GREAT job with casting him. His eyes, his face, his stare, his smile, his mannerisms. He has the charisma of Ragnar but with a bit more wisdom.
Bjor Ironside was one of the most foolish among all other sons. He fought with heart, took decisions with heart & it got him killed in the end.

Ivar inherited Ragnar's brilliant mind and ruthfulness.
Bjorn inherited Ragnar's strength and admiration of the people.
Hvitserk...well he pretty much inherited Ragnar's dark side. His fuckups and lack of direction. Undecided between sides and what not.
And Ubbe inherited Ragnar's heart. He literally achieved what Ragnar always dreamt of, but eventually failed to maintain: family, stability, friendship, happiness, peace.

Ubbe was my favorite son of Ragnar and Bjorn close behind, he was the only one who stood up against Ragnar when he returned, not to fight but to show that hes unhappy that he left them for soo long. He stayed loyal to Torvi and wanted to find new lands just as Ragnar did minus all the killing, he even said he didnt want to be kind because its not his way. As sad as i am that he is probably gonna stay in the goldenland with the tribe and Floki i think its the most pure ending because they are all at peace once and for all.

I started watching Vikings with Björn as my favourite son, and ended up with Ubbe as my favourite. Great character development!
Ubbe really is the very best of ragnar he has ragnars compassion, his vision for the future, his loyalty of family, and his ability to see things from multiple perspectives I cant wait to see how his story turns out now we know he discovers the Americas and his interactions with a people very similar to vikings the natives

The casting in this show is amazing. It is so easy to believe these are his sons because they all keep similar mannerisms from Ragnar, like something as simple as a slight head nod or movement. Phenomenal

5:00 now i finally understand that this series showed us the way from the get go. Ragnar started it all up, his vision of a new direction for his people was what in the end set the vikings destiny. Their loss of believes, their manners and their culture...... but at the same time, the way to evolve as a culture, as a town. Such a good tribute.
I just recently Started this show. After it was already off air. Never was able to watch as it came on every week. Didn't even know of it and its following. Only in passing, commercials, etc. I purchased HULU about a month ago and I watched the 1st episode and instantly fell in love with the passion for life in the series. Fell in love with the Character portrayals. RAGNAR my favorite the UBBE. I wanted to like BJORN as much but didn't until his attempt to Seize KATTEGAT. When he tells his men to retreat and then stands and tells all on the wall" You know ME!". That scene in S5E20 was freaking AWESOME! I am now at S6E3 . I hate that I am almost done with the series. One of my Top 5 all time favorite shows. SCORE!!!
I love how even though he isn't the favorite of Ragnar's sons, Ubbe is always regarded as the true heir to Ragnar's legacy and dream.
