The gaslighting is crazy
Inflation occurred because people went back to work after the pandemic. they knew it was going to be an issue also because of the stimulus payments. The government warned everyone to not spend so much and curb spending but nobody listened. They said it multiple times and that if the spending didn't slow, drastic measures to slow spending and curb inflation would be needed such as high interest rates. Now people want to complain but they didn't stop spending. they have only themselves to blame for that.
You've just educated a lot of folks. Many of us have forgotten that we're coming out of a pandemic. We're an ungrateful people. Now that the floodgates are open after the pandemic, inflation is here but it's global. The U.S. economy is still the best in the world and we have the lowest inflation rate of any industrialized free nation.
As long as people's wages don't catch up with the total cumulative inflation there is little reason to feel positive.

How does inflation in the U.S. compare with other industrialized nations? You will be surprised to know that inflation is global. Don't listen to the deceptive politicians. The U.S. is still the best but we're a privileged nation, we tend to whine the most about everything.
