Striking a balance between the datejust and the sport series. With a touch of unique green wordings and second hand. Great watch for all occasions 👍
I bought this watch and NO ONE recognizes it as a Rolex. I love this watch! And... it goes well with anything you wear.
Yeah, it’s a sleeper
@User 2389 wtf?
@User 2389 At least he has a Rolex, how many do you have? What a stupid comment you left, real collectors/enthusiasts don't make such childish comments man, get a life
Congrats man, I'm also looking at one, I tried it on and it felt "top heavy", I sold my 16610 for that very reason. How does it wear, does the top tend to slide to the side of the wrist?
@User 2389 Sounds good man!! Your intelligence comes thru in your comments, how can I debate such an eminent thinker? Won't even try. Later chief!!
He doesn't miss a single word, no edits, no cuts, not reading off of a paper - HOW DOES HE DOES IT????
This is the watch that makes me get up and go to work every morning
Always nice to look down and see that your hard work paid off. Makes you want to keep on working hard
Love my air king fabulous yellow and green on dial and surprisingly easy to use dial
That is 30 minutes of expertise in 5 minutes!
This guy is just the best - straight to the point, no bullshit. Love it.
My first ever luxury watch and still my favourite. Such an underrated piece!

Thanks in advance!
I'm buying a 114200 airking next year. Can't stand this one. Too busy and cluttered, and that 55,12, 5 looks horrendous and unsymmetrical.
@@pb8876 I agree that it looks too busy and jumbled.
I’m not a big fan of the painted-on crown as well.
I can't decide whether I love it or hate it. I've never had such mixed feelings about a watch.
U hate it but it’s a Rolex so you’re doubting yourself
@@anthonyl7519 You surmised all that from a stranger's two sentence internet comment? Sigmund Freud? Is that you?
If it didn't say Rolex, you would never even consider it.
There is your answer.
@@ekimandersom4478 I kind of understand this - feel the same about the Speedmaster. It’s the moon watch so we all have to love but it’s actually a very dull watch
Never really liked Rolex until this Airking came out. Had to but it and never looked back. Second Rolex I got was the Wimbledon. Another beautiful watch, love the green.
@Lukas Samson It's a scam people
@Noe Bishop dont fall for it
Those are two awesome watches congrats. I just got my first Rolex and while I should be content I keep thinking what’s next !!
Great review Great watch Have a great 2021
Wonderful review ! Keep up the great work. Direct and to the point no BS! This is how reviews should be done. Well done !
I watch this review cos it was straight to the point.
Sleeper for sure.
Very beautiful watch!
For sure, the Air King is the most underrated Rolex! I mean, just look at it! It's a casual, sporty or dress watch at the same time! Love the golden Rolex crown on black dial! Just ordered mine, so I am biased :)
Where did you order from and how much was it if you don’t mind me asking??
@@lesgrossman9492 , I ordered it from an AD in January if remember correctly. The price was 6200 euros. A steal, if you ask me :)
@@mrgadget1485 Yeah that’s definitely a reasonable price. I’m in the US and the grey (middle) market has wiped out all new inventory and are flipping them for 10k which is absurd. No ADs I’ve talked to have them or even know if they are getting more. I’m going to sit back and watch the idiots pay 50% over list until things get back to normal around here. Congrats on your air king!
@@lesgrossman9492 , thank you! The "middleman market" is robbing people blind, which is really sad. I live in Finland, it took five months to wait and the AD sent me mail that the watch has arrived. Maybe next time email to an AD here and take a trip to bring the watch back to the US? :) It would add maybe 10% to the cost.
@@mrgadget1485 That’s not a bad idea. I’ve never been to Finland and I love skiing, would love to see those mountains. And yes, the grey market is out of control here. There are a lot of people here buying Rolex’s that are no where near financially capable of doing so. The vast majority are making payments on the watch using COVID relief payments from our insane government. There are literally unemployed people here buying Rolex’s because they are getting more money to stay home than go to work. Once the payments stop and Rolex starts catching up to demand we will see some awesome deals.
I’m going to get one as a work watch.
Magnifique 👏 Wow
Beautiful watch indeed ! Is it authentic ?
just bought the rolex air king, 126900, the newer version, for usd 9000...worth it n love it🎉🎉🎉
A master peice timepeice i owned one a year ago then gifted it to a friend.
I would also like to be your friend
wow that iphone sure has a nice camera, nice piece i love mine
Hello Mr Tim mosso.
Which amount the following wear larger on the wrist?
a)Rolex Airking.
b)Rolex oyster perpetual 41mm (2020 model).
I think the Air King / MG does - thicker and longer lug to lug. I’m lucky enough to have an AIr King - looks great my 7.2 inch wrist.
Air king from what I have heard I have not tried it on but I have a OP and everyone says it’s technically a 39.5
makes me wonder what it would look like if I brushed the center links on my Milgauss GV
Luv this watch, has it all for everyday wear , dial seconds/minutes/hrs. all easy read off minute hand, green second hsnd sets it all off. Thanx. P.S. Tx.
How much, please Thank you
The best everyday watch
Definitely up there but my Op 41 does the job !
I don’t know why people hate this watch for the price i rhink it looks awesome not like other boring Rolex.
I came for specs and facts boy did this deliver 😂😂
I love my Air-King, because I don't have to deal with people asking "iS tHaT a RoLeX???"
I feel like you know it is though I think it looks a lot like a Rolex all Rolex have the same case shape and bracelet. It’s going to catch their eye most people might glance at a watch quick and the only color on the dial is the bright green Rolex next to a yellow crown your eye immediately goes too it. They might not be asking because they already read it and know it is one lol
@@WatchUnwindmost people dont see your watch from 50cm i wonder what you mean with reading that rolex easily.
What's the size of the dial? I have an OP 39. Is it the same dimensions - 32.5mm?
40mm
40mm
Missed a lot of shows in the last few months due to life happening. You bought yourself a ZB yet Tim?
@Victor M BRB ;-)
I have an Explorer II. I bought this watch in 1997, I love it and I am due for another. I have looked at every Rolex and I believe this is the next one for me. It's understated and fantastic.
So then does it also have the same magnetic resistance?
@@ironheadshea lol. Yeah I know. It was answered right as I was typing.
thats not true, both have a resistance of aprox. 15.000 Gauss, if not more
@@WorldandWatches how do you know? The only watches I know of that reach that are Omega..
@@plostyle786 there are several Tests, just Google it. Milgauss ist the Name of the classic original that was resistant to only 1000 gauss. The combination of Hairspring and Case makes the Milgauss and the Air King faaar more resistant.
@@WorldandWatches I looked. None specifically say that. They just say it's safe to assume it's more. Please post a link if you have proof
Gloves my friend
i love this watch!!
As do I! It's a perfect balance of fun and simplicity!

Great presentation but for me a headache inducing dial.
Have you owned one? As an owner I can attest the dial is actually surprisingly easy to read and use, that hour/minute dial just works!
Such a beauty, but the recent rolex price is crazy. Will wait for the price to settle down before getting one of this.
Good luck waiting till 20XX 🤣
Prices wont settle down. I've learnt the hard way in the past with 116710ln (black gmt master ll) seen it at £7000 and thought I'll wait till a new model is released it was then discontinued
Had one on my wrist to try out at the AD 1.5 years ago and price was $6,200. Hard to find one now for less than $8k.
Historically, Rolex prices never settle down, they only go up, and like a rocket ship as of late!
Price won't go down. I first saw this 2-3 years ago when RRP was £4,550. It's now £5,150 and I'm hoping to get one in the next few months...
I think rolex would do very well with this watch if they dropped the retail price. This should be a 5 grand watch at max.
Wouldn't matter anyway.... they'd still be a waitlist
It's essentially a Milgauss..... so a 3131 movement and a double inner anti magnetic case. It should be more expensive than an Explorer, like the milgauss.
Could be selling double glazing.....
Great review. I have owned every sporty Rolex models ever made and trust me buy this one. I just got mine from an AD last month and it is outstanding. So much nicer than the horrible new submariner. Anyway good luck everyone in this mad world!

Oh yes. One day it will be mine but not for 10 grand used.
Try to get down to an ad then keep bothering them into they get you one
@@WatchUnwind I have a pretty good relationship with an authorized dealer on their jewelry side. My family‘s been going there for years and has probably spent $100,000 in there And they know it’s on a first name basis. But I will only pay sticker. I’m not gonna pay these mark ups. Even if that means going without. But yeah I should probably give it a shot
@@2steaksandwiches665 I got an OP 41 with no prior buying history so yeah give it a shot. I can’t pay over retail for anything either if I go to subway and the 5 dollar foot long is 5.25 I’m walking out
Most poluted and confusing dial in the Rolex lineup...
My vote would go to the "California" dial - a mixture of roman, arabic numbers and stick markers.
Update this watch Rolex!
I hate it. I think I learned in first grade that the 1 on a clock means 5 minutes after, the 2 means 10-after, etc. Strangely, having all those oversized, high numbers cluttering the dial only adds confusion, not clarity.
It's confusing only to those that can't count
@@baysidelad1 it looks ugly and isn't symmetrical.
In a high speed situation that dial is very easy to use, I drive a lot on mountain roads and this watch just works great
@@youAbajajTube Well, I guess that's why there are so many types of watches and displays. I guess that display is useful for some people and it has its fans.
I see where your coming from but to be fair it’s a pilot watch and a lot of pilot watches use that layout
Its kinda cheap and not in your face
