    Back in the 90's I saw a big one of these. It was like a stack of pancakes 4 feet tall and 5 foot radius (about 10 feet wide). So the display was a big curved surface on the side. That also kept people away from this big spinning arm with the LEDS.
    This is a very cool project!👍

    This is so cool. Love the use of the induction coils for power. Addressable RGB LEDs would be an amazing update to this project.

    That must have been a lot of work to get that all balanced! :-) That is so innovative how you use the coils to provide power rather than a high friction rotary contact. I am liking this more and more!!

    Attenzione. Nello schema e sul PCB il sensore di Hall ha i pin 1 e 3 invertiti.
    Attention. In the schematic and on the PCB, the Hall sensor has pins 1 and 3 reversed.

    Small tip, when you solder stranded wires with holders, heat the wire from the underside and add solder to the top side, that will make the solder wick down into the strands more thoroughly.

    Looks like a Weller temperature regulated soldering iron. Uses a magnetic tip and at a certain temperature the magnetic force disappears and the switch opens and when it cools down just a little the magnetic force returns and closes the switch.

    So it looks like the thing in the middle is an induction 5v supply, but I don't see any data lines. The sensor on the side of the board seems to be sensing a pass and thus is a timing element for the display. So you would have to somehow set the arduino's time and it is taking care of updating it? Any reason why not to just solder the 5v wires into the through hole? instead of on top of it.
