My husband always raves about how she was so beautiful (and still is) like she was underrated. He always says she was the prettiest girl on the show. I always appreciated Lauren and Whitney's type looks during this period of time.

I actually believe that since the whole "sorta scripted" thing came out it lets a lot of the cast who did things that were not nice, blame it on production. Like Lo, "oh, that was scripted". Yeah, I don't buy that one, not at all. Lauren would not have been crying if it were scripted to that degree after Audrina had said that to Lo. You can see that Audrina and Lo's conversation was absolutely not scripted. You can see Lo look like she might cry and was literally shocked when Audrina said they would never be friends. I'd bet my last dollar that was not fake. Production may have been like, let's separate Audrina from Lauren and Lo and see the jealously! The jealousy wasn't from Audrina, she was sad. The jealousy was from Lo taking every opportunity to let Audrina know she was not welcome in their group. Example: The puppy has 2 moms now! As Audrina is standing right there looking very hurt. Lo was a B and can blame production all she wants but I don't a word of it.
I believe Lo at the time was massively jealous of Audrina and had nothing in common with her, except Lauren. She was for real unfriendly and snobby towards her some of the time, I'm sure that it wasn't faked and scripted. Audrina had her separate friends and Lo and Lauren had their gang, and they'd film together but weren't really close.
Chiara (Audrina’s coworker) seems like a really good friend to have. I always wished she’d been on more because she seemed so cool!
Honestly it’s pretty messed up that they found these kids willing to be famous enough to play the villain or the bitch without the back up of it being a character. I don’t think they were old enough to genuinely understand those consequences.
Spencer knew exactly what he was doing and how to create drama. If he was smart enough to use Iran and Israel as an analogy for his relationship with Lauren, he was smart enough to know he was playing the villain. I used to hate him back then, but watching it now with an adult perspective, he's an amazing character!

@@cheliceiam I agree, Lo wasn't smart enough to understand her role. She was dragged into it just because she was on Laguna Beach and probably the producers convinced her that she would become famous or something...
I honestly was thinking the same because he tries to say it most of his behavior was an act & he was putting on for the cameras & others try to back him up too, but here we are years later & he is still one of the most disliked people to ever appear on reality TV. He will never be able to convince people he is not this horrible person like he portrays himself to be on the show & I wonder if he really knew how problematic he is still considered to be this far into the future. However I can admit he has actually never done anything to show people this other side of him & still continues the same behavior to this day. Based on that it’s hard for me to believe some of it is because that’s just genuinely who he is. He destroyed his reputation & Heidi’s for money & fame that they ultimately lost most of. Sad.

In terms of Whitney's "Lauren..." at the end, I don't get it. Lauren has been warned about Stephanie, and from Lauren's viewpoint in the situation she had no warning Speidi was showing up so it felt like she was tricked. Of course she'd be thinking about it.

Bro Timmy can’t stand Lauren 😂 I’m not saying he hates her but he clearly doesn’t like her and he’s definitely not indifferent to her either lol. Every time she’s on screen, he’s making a face or rolling his eyes. Idk if he even realizes it. Like I GET IT, the girl’s not perfect by a long shot. But when anyone else messes up or does something mean, sometimes they call it out, but they also point out editing, ADR, that the characters are playing their “role,” etc. But when it comes to Lauren, it’s eye roll or snarky comment or grimace even when she’s just chillin lol. I wish he’d give some insight about why he reacts that way to her instead of censoring himself to be “unbiased.” They know so many people from the show that’s it’s nearly impossible not to be biased. And I’d rather hear their biased opinion because I’ve already watched the show as an outsider. I like hearing BTS stuff and perspective from someone who actually knows these people. And it’s not even the fact that it’s Lauren or that his reactions to her aren’t positive, but it’s more that his reactions to her are SO different from his reactions to others. His tolerance for BS from everyone else is like a 6. His tolerance for BS from Lauren is a 1 and that’s pushing it 😂

Unpopular opinion but I think Whitney dislikes Lauren too. Maybe it's even the reason Timmy doesn't like her? She hides it better than he does, but she'll make faces or little comments at things Lauren says in a way that she doesn't do for anybody else! I mean, they don't have to like her! I agree that if they would just admit that they ARE biased it would be so much better than hearing their "unbiased" tearing apart of Lauren, or watching them bite their tongues when you can tell they really want to say something that's not so nice.
