This was so nice and mature. Everyone here has grown so much. Meanwhile Heidi, Spencer, Audrina Brody, and Jen Bunney are still trying to act like victims of Lauren
no theyre not acting like victims they are just being honest about how the show was edited around her. If you dont like the truth dont watch it. All of them seem very happy with their lives & have fun on the podcast. Kristen & Stephen have said same thing many times about Lauren being edited as the good guy while they were the bad ones making her miserable. Theyre not being victims either. Just honest. On Laguna Lauren didnt really have much say but on The Hills she definitely had a say. So That cast have more reason to have an issue about it. Im sure they dont give a shit about it in their real lives other than when they speak about it on their podcast. which is the point of the podcast!

@E N Maybe it's just me but I don't see how Lauren was bad to them. Lauren didn't want to be friends with them or even pretend to be friends with them so she didn't. Let's not forget Spencer started the rumor about a sex tape and Heidi knew and didn't defend Lauren. They constantly to this day talk about Lauren even saying in interviews they pitied Lauren and weren't really friends and even criticize her career and business. They make her seem like a villain but if Lauren wanted to be friends and do a reboot they would be all for it

I love this episode so much. Lauren is so humble. Since she didn’t self-promote I’ll do it for her! Her current businesses include: her Kohl’s clothing and home goods line, Lauren Conrad Beauty, The Little Co. kids clothes, Paper Crown fashion line and last but not least The Little Market. She continues to be so aspirational.

My 7th grade self is so happy to know Lauren and Kristen never legitimately hated each other, Lauren and Steven dated in 7th, Lauren was dating other guys during her senior year, and I’m no longer on teams I’m team everyone! Happy Tuesday! :)

This showed how true to character they kept the show. Even now Lauren is chill and confident, Kristen is bubbly and talks so much and Stephen is in the middle managing personalities and getting a word in when he can. I loved this episode!

Well from what I remember BC I recently re watched it on #netflix lol, that when Kristin was pulling up she had said something about say'n hi to Lauren and then when she goes to leave she turns to go say bye and thanks for having me but it was a hesitation BC the scene did seem awkward and kinda dull so she was like "F*** it" im out.
This episode just shows how much Kristin and Lauren has grown. These two have not blasted eachother in social media for years. They have grown so much and this podcast shows. My teenage self is so happy! Also one thing they both have in common is they are both good friends with Stephen.

I was 14 in 2004; I most definitely thought Laguna was real and aired in real time. Season 1 and 2 is on Netflix now though and I watched it again and I’m cracking up at the messiness I thought was so real. Thank you guys! I needed this episode. 😂😭❤️

Lauren has always always been my favorite. Even back in 2004. She was never outwardly mean to people, humble and kind. Never got “mean girl” vibes from her.

I really love that Kristin and Lauren had the opportunity to apologize to each other face to face like this for things they regretted saying or doing. This was an awesome episode. I loved it.

You can tell that Kristin and Lauren have grown up a lot since the show. They both own up to the messed up things they did and said (i.e. calling each other sluts) and are at a place in their lives where they can reminisce about what happened without getting emotionally invested. If you watch Heidi on the Hills podcast you can see that it’s a completely different story lol. Props to these two for moving on with their lives (and being the most successful ones from the show)

Lauren's perspective changes everything! The show made it seem like she was a second choice to Kristin, while all-along basically from Grade 8-11, she didn't talk to Stephen since she'd always dated upperclassmen, and when they all graduated she finally started talking to the guys in her grade (ie. Stephen, Polster, Trey, Dieter etc.). And she also had multiple boyfriends they didn't show, but they did show her single and waiting for Stephen during her senior year. MTV's narrative was just accepted by the public.
This is every true fans dream!!! I could not wipe the smile off my face the entire time watching. Amazing!!

I saw a vulnerable and almost humble side of Kristin in this episode that I've never seen before, and a striking confidence in Lauren that I've never seen either. Whereas the show portrayed them as the complete opposite. I get it now.
Not really humble of Kristin when Lauren mentioned at around minute 12:58 that she thought they did a nice job with the pilot episode because they were kind, the tone and look Kristin had when she said: “Ok, GOOD. Yeah, I’m glad!” was very disingenuous and passive-aggressive 😒 She’s still full of herself 😂

Never thought i'd see the day! This was such a special episode. Lauren hasn't aged a bit and is still as mature and classy as ever. Kristin and Stephen handled this interview well. It was very nostalgic and like Stephen said...finally filled in all those voids weve had since the show went off air. I'd love to listen to Kristen and LC recap the first and last episode of the Hills.

I think my favorite part of this podcast series is seeing how truly eager they are to ask each other questions and hear their response. So many reunions seem so awkwardly forced and ingenuine, this comes off as the complete opposite feeling from these three. That alone makes me smile, that we all truly want to return to this time, back to the beach. :')

This was absolutely insane! I can’t believe Lauren was there in person. I was actually shocked to see that Lauren has such a great funny personality because they’re right all they really portrayed her as on the show was the quiet nice girl. It was so heartwarming to see Kristin and LC get along so well, it’s kind of sad to think that they could’ve been friends all along if the show didn’t screw with them so much

Lauren has always had a quiet and calm confidence and I absolutely love her! I really think her and Kristin have great chemistry and want more episodes with them all together!

SUCH A GOOD EPISODE OMG! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw they got Lauren to do it! I feel like she has tried so hard to distance herself from the show (which I understand) but it was really refreshing to see her comfortably discussing everything in a really open way with the two of them. Love love love that they all got to "make peace" and apologize for the mistakes they made with each other too.
