I ran into Todd once, before the Tubes/Utopia concert in Fargo ND, early eighties. I was walking behind the auditorium between the tour buses. I saw Todd walking towards me and he had that "oh no, its a fan" look on his face. When we passed I just said "Hi Todd" and he responded "Hey". I think he was glad that I didn't bother him for an autograph or lengthy conversation. It was a good concert.
Also, firmly rooted in the underrated category, The Tubes! A show so great it cannot be described. EVERYONE READING THIS SEEK THE TUBES!
I could sit and listen to Todd speak all day long. Apart from being a brilliant musician, song writer, producer, and innovator, he's genuinely funny. I appreciate intelligence, especially when it comes from a corner of the universe that includes the Kardashians. That he also seems like a genuinely nice man, who is humble, makes him exceptional.
He is very likeable and genuine human being. Met him once with utopia backstage after a performance in Columbus ohio in 1980. Nice guy. Not like anyone you daily come in contact with.
Sons of 1984. I was in the audience at Central Park when he asked us to be in the chorus in the early 70’s. Just heard it again today (made me feel young again)

A ladyfriend of mine made me go to a Jimmy Buffet concert in the '90s. I was shocked that I knew every song he played. It wasn't a bad concert, though I've never had the urge to see him again. There is a good video of him doing the Grateful Dead's Uncle John's Band in concert the night that Jerry passed. It was good.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or Honorary Doctorate in 2017 from Berklee College of Music? Tough one there, but I got to go with the people who know music. Also, Rundgren has more musical genius in his left nut than Jimmy Buffet has in his whole body.
