    I found the owners manual was lacking when it came to the different modes and descriptions.

    This video helped a ton 🙏🏻 On my UTV there’s a little yellow button on the side of the speedometer but on my ATVs there’s nothing so I was super confused. That makes sense though, thanks!

    I believe you were correct when you said total hours on the vehicle of 3.1 (hourglass display), but then you incorrectly said in the next setting (hourglass plus wrench) that this was remaining miles. Instead it would be remaining hours. Any time the miles is referenced you can see the "mi" indicator below the number, and it doesn't show that with the 46.9, so it's 3.1 hours used, 46.9 hours remaining until service, total of 50 hours.

      Make sure your ATV is not in Reverse while doing this!!!!!!
      Turn the key to the ON position. Use the MODE button to toggle to the odometer display.
      2. Press and hold the MODE button until the hour segment flashes. Release the button.
      3. With the segment flashing, tap the MODE button to advance to the desired hour setting.
      4. Press and hold the MODE button until the next segment flashes. Release the button.
      5. Repeat steps 3-4 twice to set the 10-minute and 1-minute segments. After completing the 1-minute segment, step 4 will save the new settings and exit the clock mode.
      6. Turn the key to the OFF position.

    • @ljonesto
      @ljonesto  Před 7 lety +2

      Mine was already set to MPH. But here are instructions from the owners manual page 42:Display Units (Standard/Metric)The display can be changed to display either standard or metric units of
      measurement.
      Tip: To exit the set-up mode at any time, wait 10 seconds. The display
      automatically exits and returns to the odometer display.
      1. Turn the key to the OFF position.
      2. Place the transmission in neutral.
      3. Press and hold the MODE button while turning the key to the ON
      position.
      4. When the display flashes the distance setting, tap the MODE button
      to advance to the desired setting.
      5. Press and hold the MODE button to save the setting and advance to
      the next display option.
      6. Repeat the procedure to change remaining display settings

    Is there supposed to be a heat shield on the right hand side near where the riders right leg is supposed to go. I find when I am riding it gets really hot. I noticed there is a service advisory for the 2017 model to correct this problem.

    • @ljonesto
      @ljonesto  Před 6 lety

      Stewart Cloutier My machine did not come with the heat shield but I took it in when the advisory came out and they installed for free. It was very hot for me too. I ride at slower speeds so it got pretty hot. Heat shield fixed the problem.

  • @518localsundayriderzzzcran8

    for some reason my temperature only says 80 to 90 degrees when I'm out riding it and I know that used to say 174 so am I on Celsius and not Fahrenheit.
