Hello, good evening, I have a Polaris 450 ATV from the 2000s, I removed the silencer and put a direct muffler on it, so I don't have any problems riding it like this.
I totally forgot I had the exhaust off on my Ski Doo Expedition 600 ACE once and fired it up. Only thing louder was firing up my two stroke outboard in my driveway with muffs on.
It sounds good not too loud which I like, it can be a little tinny at times... a single cylinder can only sound so mean lol not like a v-twin. But I like it and think it’s worth it.
I got one one my 570 it sounds raspy as hell (civic fart can) when the muffler is cold but at high rev it sounds good. I bought because tge stock muffler is to restrictive when under water and I dont want it to be too loud since im trail riding with it
I liked the pipe until I seen it stick passed the back of the machine. Inévitable somebody will hit it and you will be changing exhaust studs in the head.

My cousin has these things that I want to buy you don’t have to run vent lines. You just put these little knobs on and you ain’t Gotta do all that.

I have noticed mine it somewhat wants to float/pop wheelies in the water easier than before with the stock tires and I have same tires as well

I would recommend a sportsman 450 because the are somewhat cheap and they have more power really it’s a 499cc engine but it’s labeled as 450
They also go faster
